๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. After Five Months of Offensive Operations, Chin Brotherhood and Allied Forces Fully Capture Falam Town

On April 9, the Chin Brotherhood – CB officially announced the successful completion of its “Operation CB” to seize control of Falam Town.

This strategic campaign to capture Falam, the second-largest town in Chin State, was launched on November 9, 2024. After nearly five months of coordinated assaults, the entirety of Falam Township was declared cleared of SAC presence as of April 9, 2025.

In efforts to retain control of the town, the military junta had deployed reinforcements from Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 268, and in December 2024, additional 100 troops from LIB-89. Again in March 2025, another 100 troops from LIB-391 under Military Operations Command 77 were brought in. Despite these reinforcements, the junta reportedly launched over 1,000 airstrikes during the battle.

A diverse coalition of allied revolutionary groups fought alongside Chin Brotherhood (CB) in the campaign, including:
96 Soldiers PDF, Anti-Fascist Internationalist Front (AIF), Burma National Revolutionary Army (BNRA), Burmese Revolutionary Technical Front (BRTF), Generation Z Army (GZA), Giant Revolution Force (GRF), Harmonious Northern Brothers (HNB), Kalay Revolution Force (KRF), Kalay Urban Guerrilla (Kalay UG), Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT), National Liberation Army (NLA), Revolution Ambulance Wolf (RAW Medical Team), Sagaing Federal Troop (SFT), Yaw Defense Force (YDF), Zo Army (ZA), Kalay District Pa Ka Pha, and drone units.

The total liberation of Falam Township was attributed to the unwavering determination and sustained offensive actions of the allied forces, strategic support including arms and ammunition from the Arakan Army (AA), as well as steadfast logistical backing from the civilian population. These combined efforts were officially acknowledged and commemorated.

The statement also paid tribute to the fallen martyrs who sacrificed their lives, the wounded comrades, and the courageous commanders and fighters who led the assault with unwavering bravery until victory was secured.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 5. Multi-faith PDF Officers from Moke Koat Region Hold Prayer Ceremonies for Earthquake Victims in Sagaing

The Ministry of Defense under the National Unity Government (NUG) announced that multi-faith officers from the Moke Koat regional battalion of the People’s Defense Forces (PDF) held prayer ceremonies for civilians affected by the recent earthquake in Sagaing.

The statement noted that while PDF members from the Moke Koat region are eager to offer physical and emotional support to victims in quake-affected areas as “soldiers of the people,” they are unable to directly reach certain territories still under junta control. Therefore, they extended their spiritual support and offered special prayers for the affected people in those inaccessible regions.

The statement emphasized that being a member of the People’s Defense Forces entails more than engaging in armed resistance; it includes fulfilling one's duty to the people during times of hardship. Each PDF officer, regardless of their faith, offered prayers in accordance with their respective religious beliefs for those impacted by the disaster.
