๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Terrorist Military Launches Renewed Aerial Bombardment on Villages in Ngapudaw Township
May 18
Villages in Ngapudaw Township, located in Hinthada District of Ayeyarwady Region, were bombarded again this morning, May 18, by airstrikes launched by the terrorist military, according to local sources.
A special unit from Pathein, serving as a regional information source, reported that the terrorist junta carried out no fewer than 18 aerial assaults starting at 6:40 a.m. today using a Y-12 aircraft, targeting Chinkyaikkwin Village, Bepyakone Village, and Saseikonekwin Village.
The military also reportedly conducted airstrikes in the same areas the previous night, May 17.
On May 15, the terrorist junta also launched airstrikes on Chinkyaikkwin Village, damaging both the local school and Timber Factory No. 31, and destroying a betel leaf shop in the area.
Furthermore, on the night of May 15, at around 9:30 p.m., a paramotor deployed from Tatkha 5 in Kwinkauk carried out aerial attacks on Bepyakone, Saseikonekwin, and Chinkyaikkwin Villages. The following evening, May 16 at 8:30 p.m., two aircraft also targeted Wadawkwin, Kyetpaungkone, and Thanbopyarkone Villages.
Facing troop shortages, the terrorist junta has implemented the conscription law and is forcibly recruiting and training new soldiers, sending them to the frontlines. However, these recruits often flee due to inadequate combat skills and lack of battlefield experience. As a result, the junta is increasingly resorting to airstrikes targeting civilian homes, Buddhist monasteries, and schools as part of its destructive campaign.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Junta Launches Aerial Bombing on a Township Clinic in Kamma
May 18
A clinic located in the western sector of Kamma Town in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, was bombed from the air by the military council today, resulting in civilian injuries, local sources reported.
At approximately 6:17 a.m. today, a fighter jet originating from Tantabin conducted the aerial assault on the clinic situated in Gyopyan Ward, in western Kamma.
Initial reports confirm that the clinic building sustained structural damage, and two individuals were injured during the incident.
The aircraft had reportedly looped back around from Min Tat and Tilin, attacking the clinic located between Pauk and Kamma, prompting local residents to remain on high alert due to the risk of further airstrikes.
A separate source noted that there were no clashes or armed conflict in the area at the time, and that the junta had attacked without provocation.
In light of the increasing aerial assaults targeting civilians, revolutionary forces in the area have urged communities to dig bomb shelters and establish early warning systems to reduce airstrike casualties.
As the junta continues to suffer battlefield losses nationwide, including in Magway and Sagaing Regions, it has intensified its deliberate attacks on civilian areas—especially schools, healthcare facilities, and religious buildings—causing ongoing civilian casualties and destruction.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Shwebo PDF Urges Citizens to Take Responsibility for Establishing a Federal Democratic Union and a Civilian Government
May 18
The 26th Battalion of the MDF-Shwebo under Shwebo District has urged citizens to actively fulfill their responsibilities toward building a Federal Democratic Union and regaining their right to freely elect a civilian government of their choice.
This statement was issued as part of commemorations marking the fourth anniversary of the battalion’s formation.
The 26th Battalion of MDF-Shwebo was officially established on the full moon of Kasone, 1387 ME (May 11, 2025). Although the anniversary fell earlier, the battalion delayed its announcement to avoid drawing attention from the junta, as well as to minimize the risk of aerial threats to civilians in the area.
The battalion stated that while it had participated and achieved victories in Operation Shanman in 2024, they do not consider their mission complete. They expressed a strong desire to continue engaging in strategic joint operations with allied ethnic armed groups.
Currently, the battalion is regrouping, training, and preparing to resume combat operations with the goal of completely eradicating the fascist military regime. Their efforts include intensified training programs aimed at long-term strategic resistance.

May 18
Three junta personnel, including two soldiers and one Pyu Saw Htee militia member, were killed in an attack on a military checkpoint located on 6th Street in the Pakokku Industrial Zone, according to the Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT) resistance force.
The attack was launched in the evening of May 15, targeting the military gate on 6th Street in the Pakokku Industrial Zone.
The MBT reported that the clash lasted approximately 30 minutes due to the junta’s return fire. During the engagement, two junta soldiers and one Pyu Saw Htee member were confirmed dead, and several others sustained injuries.
Although the revolutionary forces attempted to completely seize control of the gate due to the extent of casualties suffered by the junta side, they were forced to retreat as junta reinforcements arrived.
According to information received by the resistance, there were initially only six junta personnel stationed at the checkpoint. The assault was carried out based on this intelligence. However, due to the presence of approximately 25 junta forces, along with the arrival of additional reinforcements, the revolutionary fighters had to withdraw.
This operation was jointly conducted by the Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT), the Naga Min PDF group, and the Revolutionary – Pakokku column.
