๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Junta Soldiers Abandon Nga Yant Ni Outpost on the Thai–Myanmar Border and Flee into Thailand

On June 12, junta troops stationed at the Nga Yant Ni outpost, located in Dawei District along the Thai–Myanmar border, reportedly abandoned their post and fled, according to the administrative officer of Military Region 4 (Myeik–Dawei District).
The outpost was manned by around 20 junta soldiers, and it was noted that there had been aerial surveillance or operations prior to their departure. The troops are said to have crossed over into Thailand after fleeing their post.
Following the retreat, the Kawthoolei Army approached and entered the outpost, where they reportedly seized several artillery shells during a clearance operation.
Nga Yant Ni was one of the smaller outposts along the Thai–Myanmar border, and only one other small outpost remains in the vicinity, according to local sources.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Drone Strikes on Mon State Government Office and Ministers’ Residences

The Saw Dragon Drone Force (SDDF) has claimed responsibility for a drone attack targeting the Mon State Government Office and the residences of state ministers.
On June 12, drone strikes were launched against the government office and the ministers’ quarters in Mawlamyine, resulting in a direct hit on the Attorney General’s residence and injuries to two individuals.
The operation was reportedly conducted in coordination by multiple resistance drone units:
- Saw Dragon Drone Force – SDDF,
- Shah Htoo Wah Technology Team – Alpha Bats Drone Force,
- Sky Warrior Drone Force,
- and local Mon State Pa Ka Pha (PDF) units.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Copper Convoy from Sagaing’s Military Division 33 Attacked with Landmines and Gunfire

A military convoy that departed from Division 33 in Sagaing Region was attacked with remote mines and gunfire while traveling along the Monywa–Mandalay highway, according to the Brave Heart Army.
On June 12, the targeted convoy consisted of:
- 19 copper transport trucks,
- 8 armored plating trucks,
- and 3 six-wheeled covered cargo trucks.
The attack occurred near the Ma U military checkpoint, using five remote-detonated landmines, followed by surrounding fire with light weapons, as stated in the report.
As a result of the ambush:
- One armored truck and two copper transport trucks were brought to a halt,
- Two junta soldiers were killed—one of whom was reportedly a high-ranking officer.
After the attack, junta casualties were seen being transported to Shwe Taw Win Hospital using:
- one hearse,
- one private car,
- and one armored vehicle, according to reports from local witnesses.
The operation was a joint effort carried out by the Brave Heart Army, the Golden Target Force, and the Chindwin Fighter Group.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Two Returning Military Transport Boats Attacked After Deploying Junta Troops to Thayetchaung

In Tanintharyi Region, two military boats that had transported junta frontline troops from Dawei to Thayetchaung were attacked on their return journey, according to the Dawei Youth Armed Force (DYAF).
The incident occurred on June 10, around 12:00 noon, at a location along the Dawei River, where two junta boats carrying approximately 80 personnel were ambushed twice using sniper fire and other light weapons.
As a result of the attack, two junta soldiers were killed and three others were injured, according to field reports.
The operation was jointly carried out by the Dawei Youth Armed Force – DYAF, and Battalion 12, Company 1 of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA).

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Junta Troops from Nat Yekan Strategic Hill Outpost Captured by CDF-Asho

A unit of junta soldiers stationed at the Nat Yekan Strategic Hill Air Defense Base was captured by the Chin Defense Force – Asho (CDF-Asho), the group announced.
Between June 8 and June 12, CDF-Asho forces conducted operations targeting the old road near Nat Yekan, approximately 1,500 meters from the Bue Htar Hill base, during which 23 junta soldiers were successfully captured.
During the five-day territory clearance and interception operation, resistance forces also seized the following:
- 5 MA-1 rifles,
- 3 MA-3 rifles,
- and an unspecified quantity of ammunition.
According to the CDF-Asho, the captured soldiers were forcibly conscripted under the junta’s military conscription law and had been abducted against their will into military service.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 6. Six Civilians, Including Two Children, Killed by Junta Artillery Strike Near a Funeral House in Kawkareik

In Kawkareik Township, Kayin State, a junta artillery shell reportedly struck near a funeral house, killing six civilians, including two children from the same family.
The incident occurred around 6:00 PM on June 12, when junta forces from Infantry Battalion 545, based in Kyainseikgyi, and stationed troops at the Zine Bridge launched artillery attacks. One of the shells exploded near a funeral house in Kawkabo Village.
Among the dead were:
- Ma Ei Ndra Moe, 5 years old
- Maung Win Win Kyaw, 10 years old
- Daw Tu Tu, 37 years old
- U Sein Thaung Lay, 41 years old
(All from the same family) - And U Lin Kone, 45 years old
In a separate incident at 4:25 PM the same day, another artillery shell reportedly exploded in North Kammaryet Village, also in Kawkareik Township, killing U Myint Aung, aged 59, according to a statement from the Mon Liberation Army.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Police Sergeant in Myaung Township Defects to Resistance with Weapon and Ammunition

In Myaung Township, Sagaing Region, a police sergeant from Kyauk Yit Police Station defected to the resistance, bringing his firearm and ammunition, according to Battalion 30 (ADPRA) under Yinmarbin District Command.
The defection occurred on June 12, when Sergeant Kyaw Min Han made contact with Company 2 of Battalion 30, bringing along his wife and son and seeking refuge under the protection of the resistance.
The police officer brought with him:
- 1 MA-13 (BA-94) rifle
- 30 rounds of 9mm ammunition
- and rifle magazines.
It was reported that a recommendation has been submitted to the Ministry of Defense of the NUG for him to receive a monetary reward in accordance with appropriate procedures.
The defecting CDM police family has been relocated to a secure location, and further assistance will be provided in accordance with their wishes, the report added.
