🚩🚩 1. Eight Junta Troops Killed and Ammunition Seized in Clash at Ohn Pin Su Village, Kyaukkyi Township

On June 6, 2025, a clash broke out between over 30 junta troops stationed in a fixed position and resistance forces in Ohn Pin Su Village, Kyaukkyi Township, Bago Region. According to a statement from Special Commando Battalion P29914, intense exchange of fire took place, resulting in the resistance forces successfully taking control of Ohn Pin Su Village.
It was reported that junta bases in Natthankwin and Kyaukkyi towns provided artillery support during the clash.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that eight junta soldiers were killed during the engagement, and it is believed that many others were injured. On the resistance side, one fighter from the Special Commando Battalion and three members from allied units sustained non-critical injuries.
Captured from the junta side during the clash were:
580 rounds of G3 ammunition
10 rounds of 40mm grenades
11 RPG propellant cartridges
9 RPG warheads
7 MA rifle grenades
1 RPG-7 launcher
1 MA-11 rifle
5 hand grenades
7 Type-14 landmines
3 directional mines
3 rounds of MA rifle ammunition
1 mine detector
and various military equipment and supplies.
The coordinated attack on Ohn Pin Su Village involved Special Commando Battalion P29914, KNLA Battalions 8 and 9, the Arlawka Column, Battalion 3702, and forces from Yangon and Ayeyarwady People’s Defense Forces (Pa Ka Pha), as stated in the release.

🚩🚩 2. Four Junta Soldiers Killed in Resistance Counterattack on Advancing Column in Chaung-U Township

In Chaung-U Township, Magway Region, resistance joint forces launched a counterattack against a junta column advancing into Kine Htauk Kan Village and nearby communities. According to a June 15 statement from the Arlawka Urban Guerrilla Force, the operation was a coordinated strike by allied resistance forces.
During the attack, four junta soldiers were killed, and 11 others were wounded.
The report further revealed that junta troops had captured a local youth to serve as a guide, whom they later brutally tortured and executed. Additionally, they set fire to a civilian vehicle and several homes in the area.
The counteroffensive was jointly carried out by:
Special Strike Unit (1) of the Magway District Pa Ka Pha,
Arlawka Urban Guerrilla Force,
Magway Region Battalion (1),
Chaung-U Township Pa Ka Pha,
and Chaung-U Township Joint Revolutionary Forces.

🚩🚩 3. Six Civilians Injured in Junta Airstrike on Than Nu Taw Village

On June 15, the junta conducted an aerial bombing raid on Than Nu Taw Village in Myaing Township, Magway Region, injuring six civilians, according to a statement by We Love Myaing.
At approximately 2:15 PM local time, two helicopters from Junta Infantry Division 101 based in Pakokku dropped two unguided bombs on the village without provocation.
Among the injured were two men and four women, with two of the women reportedly in critical condition.
Additionally, two cows were killed, while two civilian homes and one granary were damaged in the strike.

🚩🚩 4. One Civilian Killed, Four Injured, and Property Damaged by Junta Artillery Shelling in Kyaukhtu Township

On June 11 at approximately 5:30 PM, junta troops from Infantry Battalion (Kha Ma Ya 3), stationed in Kyaukhtu Township, Gangaw District, Magway Region, fired three rounds of heavy artillery toward Alu Gyi Village. One of the shells exploded inside the village, killing a 34-year-old man named Saw Ngwe Lar, according to a June 15 announcement by the KNLA-Central.
The explosion also injured four civilians, including Saw Aung Bo Bo, and caused damage to the homes of Saw Soe Gyi and Saw Htun Hlaing, as well as to a vehicle.
In addition, residents reported that junta forces from Kha Ma Ya 3, under the command of the 44th Light Infantry Division headquartered near Byar Ywar Village in Bilin Township, have been conducting deliberate and repeated artillery strikes targeting civilian areas in Byar Ywar Village, Melan Village Tract, Kyaukhtu Township.

The Asho Chin Defense Force (ACDF) successfully held its 6th weekly basic military training graduation ceremony along with a loyalty oath-taking event, according to a statement released on June 15 by ACDF.
The event took place on June 10 at the ACDF rear training ground and was attended by members of the ACDF Central Executive Committee, commanding officers, and invited representatives from allied organizations.

🚩🚩 6. SNA Trooper from Battalion 614 Defects with Weapon to Defense Ministry

A soldier from Battalion 614 of the junta-aligned SNA (Shanni Nationalities Army – People’s Militia) has defected and surrendered to the Katha District Battalion 4 under the Ministry of Defense, according to an official statement.
The defecting SNA trooper brought with him an M23 assault rifle and ammunition. In recognition of his defection and cooperation, he was awarded a reward of 1.5 million kyats.
The reward was jointly presented by Battalion 4 of Katha District, local administrative authorities from Banmauk Township, and supportive civilians.
