๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Final Junta Stronghold in Hpasawng—LIB 135—Under Assault by Resistance Forces

In Hpasawng, Karenni State, the final remaining military base of the junta’s Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 135 is currently under assault as part of the ongoing battle to retake Hpasawng town, according to the Central Region Special Operations Force.
On July 7, resistance forces launched an offensive on LIB 135, during which the Central Region Special Operations Force captured two junta soldiers alive. Other allied revolutionary groups are also reported to have captured junta personnel.
In the battles to seize LIB 134 and LIB 135 in Hpasawng, ten soldiers from the Central Region Special Operations Force were injured and are now receiving medical treatment. Allied units also sustained casualties in the operation.
Since late 2024, the Central Region Special Operations Force has been conducting joint military operations with local resistance allies in the Bawlakhe–Hpasawng theater. It was noted that a member of the force was killed during these operations on December 30.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Battle in Puzon Myaung Village Leaves One Junta Officer Dead

At approximately 8:40 a.m. on July 12, 2025, junta troops based at the large monastery in northern Puzon Myaung Village, Nyaung Lay Pin Township, launched an assault using RPGs (40mm) and 60mm mortar rounds toward Tawyar Lay Monastery, according to a statement from Fire Dragon.
As junta troops advanced, they clashed directly with fighters from Battalion 3703, leading to an intense firefight. Meanwhile, junta reinforcements from LIB 20, based in Nyaung Lay Pin, provided artillery support, and drone-dropped munitions were launched from the Tarpyat Bridge checkpoint, sources said.
The battle reportedly ended around 12:00 noon, with confirmation that one junta officer was killed in the fighting.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Four Junta Troops Killed in Attack at Zee Kone High School No. 1

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on July 14, resistance fighters carried out a strike on junta forces and Pyu Saw Htee militia members who were stationed inside Zee Kone High School No. 1, Kantbalu Township, according to a release by the DU WON PDF.
The operation resulted in four junta troops killed, while one managed to escape. Resistance forces reportedly seized two carbines, one AK rifle, and two communication devices.
The attack was jointly carried out by the Bo Yatha (aka Bo Paing Chay) unit of the Kantbalu District People’s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) and the DU WON PDF (Jajja Revolutionary Force) of Yay Oo Sub-district.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Landmine Attack on Junta Convoy Leaving Saikphyu Sub-Power Station Kills 7

In Saikphyu Township, Magway Region, a convoy of four junta vehicles departing from the Tanyaung Power Sub-Station was hit by a landmine attack, resulting in seven deaths, according to a statement from the Thakhin Phoe Hla Gyi Battalion.
The incident occurred on July 10, when a convoy of about 50 troops leaving from Saikphyu was targeted with landmines. As a result, seven junta personnel were killed, and three others were seriously injured.
Later, at around 10:35 p.m., junta troops retaliated by shelling the power sub-station and surrounding hidden posts using 60mm mortars.
During that shelling, five junta soldiers were injured, and three of them later died from their wounds, the report added.
The attacks were jointly carried out by the Thakhin Phoe Hla Gyi (Chauk) Battalion and Company 1/2 of Battalion 4, Pakokku District.

At around 1:00 a.m. on July 14, 2025, the terrorist military junta launched three airstrikes on locations within Demoso Township, according to a statement from CTER-Karenni.
As a result of the air raids, two civilians were injured, and a civilian clinic, two buildings, and a vehicle were damaged or destroyed.
The strikes targeted three separate locations, and 200-pound bombs were reportedly used in the attacks.

In Kawlin Township, Sagaing Region, an airstrike by junta forces injured four civilians, including one child, according to a statement released by the Kawlin People’s Defense Force.
At approximately 4:38 a.m. on July 14, a jet fighter from the Tanta-U Air Force Base carried out an airstrike near Doepin Village, located in the eastern part of Kawlin.
The attack left a young child, one woman, and two men injured, with one of the victims reportedly in critical condition.
Additionally, two fuel tanker trucks, one rice shop, and other property were damaged or destroyed, resulting in significant losses.

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on July 14, 2025, the terrorist junta launched another airstrike in Mawkhi, Karenni State, according to a statement from CTER-Karenni.
The attack reportedly killed six civilians—five women and one man, while three others were injured.
This marked the eighth aerial bombardment on Mawkhi Town, with the cumulative death toll from these attacks reaching 30 civilians, the report noted.
In total, at least 15 civilians, including children, have been killed in junta airstrikes in Karenni State during the month of July alone.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 8. Junta Launches Another Airstrike on Hsipaw; 2 Civilians Killed, 2 Injured

The terrorist junta conducted another airstrike on Hsipaw, a town in northern Shan State under the control of the TNLA (Ta'ang National Liberation Army), resulting in two civilian deaths and two injuries.
At around 6:00 p.m. on July 14, a junta fighter jet dropped two bombs near a mobile phone shop and a beauty salon named Shwe Lone, located along the Lashio–Mandalay Road in Hsipaw.
The shop owner of Shwe Lone and a trishaw driver who was in front of the shop were both killed in the bombing. Of the two people injured, one is in critical condition, according to reports.
Earlier, on July 4, the junta had dropped two 250-pound bombs on Hsipaw, damaging at least five government buildings and eight homes.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 9. Two Fighters from KNDF Battalion 15 Killed in Battles in Bawlakhe and Hpasawng

Two soldiers from Battalion 15 of the Karenni Nationalities Defence Force (KNDF) were killed in recent battles in Bawlakhe and Hpasawng towns, the group announced.
Khun Heh Dee Lin (aka Jason) was killed in action on March 20, during a coordinated assault on a junta military outpost as part of an operation in Bawlakhe, when junta forces launched an airstrike during the attack.
Similarly, Saw Sar Bwel Mu (aka Khut Htio Yel) was killed in Hpasawng on June 23, while serving in a combat operation, when he was targeted by a junta drone strike.
In total, during four months of combat operations in Hpasawng and Bawlakhe, KNDF Battalion 15 has lost two comrades, with one fighter severely wounded and twelve others injured, according to the report.
KNDF Battalion 15 expressed deep condolences to the families of the fallen and stated that the two fighters will be eternally honored and remembered as revolutionary martyrs and national heroes who sacrificed their lives with unwavering commitment to the revolution.
