📌📌 1. The Acting President says that efforts are being made to report all the terrorist acts of the military council to the international tribunal


Acting President Duwa Lashi La said the following in his State of the Union Address on the second anniversary of the formation of the National Unity Government on April 16:

“The National Unity Government is striving to report all the terrorist acts of the military council to the international tribunal. We further affirm that we will make every effort to provide the People’s Defence Forces with the weapons and other assistance as quickly as possible.”


The National Unity Government has collected materials on the terrorist acts of the military council and sent them to international governments and member states of the UN Security Council.

📌📌 2. The Union Prime Minister says that the National Unity Government always listens carefully to reasonable criticism and suggestions


Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann stated in his Myanmar New Year Message to the public on April 17: “Our government always listens carefully to reasonable criticisms and suggestions, makes the necessary corrections, and moves forward without losing sight of our revolutionary goals.”


In his message, the Union Prime Minister also noted that the National Unity Government is constantly trying to cause the military council to suffer losses on all sides in warfare, politics, economics, and diplomacy.

📌📌 3. The CRPH commits to continuing its efforts to put an end to the military dictators’ barbaric violence as soon as possible


The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) issued the 1385 Myanmar’s New Year Message on April 17, committing its efforts to put an end to the military dictators’ barbaric violence as soon as possible.


Despite a group of terrorist military dictators and their subordinate groups destroying the lives of ethnic people in various ways, the entire public is still revolutionising with strong unity and strength, stated the CRPH. Individuals, who did not accept the rule of inhuman dictators and called for the truth through peaceful demonstrations, faced violent oppression and killing by the terrorist military group with weapons, and it has been more than two years since the people took up arms and fought against them, launching the armed revolution across the country.


“We, the people’s representatives, who were elected by the common will of the people, are taking part in the revolution in various efforts from the parliamentary sector both domestically and internationally, and we pledge to continue to work together with the National Unity Government and the revolutionary forces to end the inhumane violence of the military dictators as soon as possible and to create a peaceful future for the people of Myanmar,” stated the CRPH.

📌📌 4. The People’s Defence Force used rockets to attack the junta’s Kyaukhtu Air Force Base, Kyaukhtu Artillery Base, 23rd Defence Industry (ID-23) and Kyaukhtu Police Station in Gangaw District


The Ministry of Defence of the National Unity Government released a press statement on April 17 regrading the attacks at the junta’s Kyaukhtu Air Force Base, Kyaukhtu Artillery Base, No. 23 Defence Industry (ID-23), and Kyaukhtu Police Station in Gangaw District.

According to the statement, from about 7:50 p.m. to 8:10 p.m. on April 13, the Magway District 1st Battalion, and the Gangaw District 2nd, 4th, and 10th Battalions of the People’s Defence Force (PDF), and the Saw Township people’s defence group joined forces to attack the No. 23 Defence Industry with rockets.


Similarly, on April 14, from 12:15 p.m. to 2.15 p.m., the combined force of the Gangaw District 8th and 9th Battalions of the People’s Defence Force (PDF), Saw PDF YRPA, and Drone Revolutionary Rebel Force used rockets to attack Kyaukhtu Air Force Base, No. 368 Artillery Base, and Kyaukhtu Police Station. The buildings inside the No. 368 Artillery Base were reportedly destroyed by fire as a result of the attack.


The Ministry of Defence’s People’s Defence Force (Military Headquarters) stated that the PDFs’ members were able to withdraw without suffering any harm and that the enemy’s casualties from the attacks are still being investigated.

📌📌 5. NUG’s Union Minister Dr. Sasa says that the sunset of the terrorist dictators is not far away, and the victory of the people of Myanmar is also close at hand


Dr. Sasa, the Union Minister for International Cooperation of the National Unity Government, stated the following in his video message sent to Myanmar Revolutionary Thingyan held in the state of Minnesota, USA:

“The terrorist military dictators are like plants with damaged roots, while the people of Myanmar are like plants with new roots growing every day. The sunset of the terrorist dictators is not far away, while the victory of the people of Myanmar is also close at hand. There is no any similarity between the people of Myanmar and the genocidal military generals, just as there is no any similarity between the light and the darkness, and there is no any similarity between tyranny and freedom. There is no common ground between the good and the bad.”


At present, the National Unity Government has developed and is implementing a one-year strategic plan and is increasing military momentum.

📌📌 6. NUG’s Deputy Minister of Labor U Kyaw Ni says that justice must be served for the children who were killed in the air attack on Pzaigyi village in Kanbalu Township


U Kyaw Ni, Deputy Minister of Labor of the National Unity Government, stated the following on April 16 about the airstrike on Pazigyi village committed by the military council:

“I feel very sorry for the children of the whole country. We don’t have to take revenge for these children; we have to restore justice for them. I often think about those children who will be left as orphans in the post-revolutionary period. It makes my plan to establish an orphanage and nursing home long before the revolution more clear and stronger. I was inspired as if I had been tapped with a whip after witnessing the people’s reliance on and belief in the NUG.”


On April 11, a total of 168 people, the majority of whom were children and women, were killed in the air bombardment by the terrorist military on Pazigyi village in Kanbalu Township.

📌📌 7. The military council’s air forces bombarded Pan Par village in Mindat Township six times with 17 bombs, killing three civilians, including a 4-year-old kid


According to the press statement of the Chin Defence Force Mindat (CDF-Mindat), the terrorist military council which has been carrying out a series of aerial attacks and firing heavy weapons into Mindat Township purposefully, launched air bombardment on Pan Par village in Mindat Township six times with 17 bombs from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on April 16.


“As a result of the air attack, an elderly woman in her 70s and a 4-year-old child were killed; seven people—two men and five women—were injured; and nine houses were destroyed. A 17-year-old young woman later passed away from her wounds,” the CDF-Mindat stated.

It was also said that the terrorist military troops from the 274th Infantry Battalion based in Mindat Town were also firing heavy weapons indiscriminately into the villages.


During this week, the CDF-Mindat issued an emergency notice urging people to build underground bunkers that are capable of defending against airstrikes and heavy weapon fire as soon as possible.
