### **1. Chinland Defense Force - Matupi (Brigade-1) Holds Six-Monthly Commanders' Meeting**

The Chinland Defense Force - Matupi (Brigade-1) conducted its six-monthly commanders' meeting on November 28–29, 2024, according to an official release.
During the meeting, reports were presented on financial activities, military operations, alliance relations, urban and rural security, and regional development efforts for the six-month period. Plans for future activities were also established.
It was revealed that during the six-month period since the establishment of Brigade-1, six members lost their lives and twelve others sustained injuries during Chinland operations, including the Khin Dwe and Matupi campaigns.

### **2. Township Administration Committee in Monywa Township Conducts Leadership Training**

The Monywa Township People's Administration Committee in Sagaing Region held an administrative leadership training session on November 28 for representatives from 15 village administrative committees within the township.
The opening ceremony included an address by the head of the Township People's Administration Committee. The two-day training session (November 28–29, 2024) was conducted by the committee secretary. At the conclusion, village administrative seals were distributed, and financial support was provided: 7,000,000 MMK for healthcare vehicles and 3,000,000 MMK for road repairs.

### **3. Five Youths in Tachileik Abducted, Threatened, and Beaten by Armed Group**

On November 29, around 3:30 PM, an armed group abducted and beat five youths in Tachileik Township near the Me Day Private High School in Sansai (Ka) Quarter. The incident involved eight armed men arriving in a white Crown car and motorcycles, who fired shots into the air to intimidate before detaining the youths.
The victims, aged between 20 and 25, included four males and one female. The attackers reportedly operated in areas outside the military's jurisdiction, allegedly under the protection of local armed groups.
Some detainees have escaped, while others remain confined within private cells operated by these groups.

### **4. Thai Fishing Boats Attacked by Junta Navy; One Dead, 31 Detained**

On the morning of November 30, three Thai fishing vessels in Thai waters near Koh Phra Thong were attacked by Myanmar's junta navy, resulting in one crew member’s death and the detention of 31 others.
The Thai vessels reportedly attempted to flee as Myanmar naval ships approached, cutting their nets and accelerating. Two boats—*Ranong 333* and *Charoen Chai 8*—were towed into Myanmar waters, where the crew was detained. Another vessel, *Maha Latt Thannawut 4,* sustained injuries to two crew members, one of whom died from gunshot wounds while another was electrocuted during the attack.
The *Ranong 333* crew jumped overboard, with one drowning as a result. The 31 detained crew members—comprising four Thai nationals and 27 Myanmar nationals—were taken to Yan Cheuk Island by the junta navy.
The Thai-Myanmar Border Fisheries Coordination Center (SEA) has filed a formal protest and is working to secure the release of the detained fishermen.
