January 27
In January, Human Rights Minister U Aung Myo Min stated:
"During a BBC interview, I reflected on the question about plans to return to Myanmar. Twice, I had to leave my beloved country to join the revolution. It feels like being a stateless exile—a rebel with no place to call home. I didn’t leave to live abroad or to settle in another country. I left to rebuild and restore my nation to a better state, with the hope of returning one day. Each extra effort we make brings us one step closer to returning to our homeland. I am not working to avoid going back—I am working to return as soon as possible."
Currently, the Human Rights Ministry continues to document SAC's human rights violations and report them to international governments and the United Nations.
