๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. TNLA and AA Send a Message to MNDAA, Emphasizing Brotherhood and Unity in Overcoming Challenges

The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the Arakan Army (AA) have sent a message to the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), reaffirming their commitment to overcoming challenges together in the spirit of true brotherhood and alliance.

On March 11, the TNLA and AA sent their message to commemorate the anniversary of the founding of the MNDAA. In their message, they acknowledged that the collective aspirations of the Kokang people and the military-political objectives of the Myanmar National Truth and Justice Party (MNTJP/MNDAA) have been achieved to a certain extent. However, they urged continued efforts to further stabilize, develop, and ensure lasting peace and prosperity in the Kokang region.

The message emphasized that in facing any upcoming difficulties, the allied forces should remain united and ready to navigate challenges together in the spirit of true brotherhood.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Resistance Forces Ambush a Junta Convoy from Wek Luu Police Station in Nwatoegyi Township, Killing 25 and Capturing 14, Including Senior Officers

On March 9, a coalition of resistance forces, including units from Myingyan District Battalions 4 and 10, as well as local Pa Ka Pha (People’s Defense Force) and allied groups, launched a coordinated attack on a military convoy from Wek Luu Police Station in Nwatoegyi Township, Mandalay Region. The convoy, consisting of approximately 200 junta troops from Infantry Battalion 101, was ambushed west of Kyat Twin Boe village, according to a statement from the No. 1 Military Region.

During the battle, 25 junta soldiers were killed, while 14 others, including Lieutenant Colonel Win Hlaing Oo and Colonel Aung Ko Ko, were captured.

The resistance forces seized a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the junta, including:

44 firearms (19 MA-1 rifles, 2 MA-2 rifles, 7 MA-3 rifles, 2 MA-5 rifles, and other assorted weapons)

60mm and 81mm mortar shells, as well as 5.56mm ammunition (12,000 rounds)

28 rounds of 60mm mortar shells, various other artillery rounds, and 8 RPG shells

21 hand grenades, 5 landmines, and 11 hand-thrown grenades

2 laptops and 2 communication devices

During the battle, junta jet fighters from Meiktila and Tada-U conducted two aerial bombardments. Unfortunately, two resistance fighters from the local Pa Ka Pha unit in Nwatoegyi lost their lives in the attack.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. Yangon Youths Launch a Photo Campaign Demanding ILO to Enforce Article 33 on Myanmar

Despite heavy security deployments by junta forces, resistance youth in various parts of Yangon launched a photo campaign on March 11, holding up images and signs that read “ILO IMPLEMENT ARTICLE 33 ON MYANMAR NOW 2025.”

This movement is a direct call for the International Labour Organization (ILO) to take effective action under Article 33 against the military junta for its unlawful suppression of fundamental labor rights, freedoms, and worker protections in Myanmar.
