๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. 31 Fighters of Phaikhong Inn Eastern PDF Killed Over Four Years Since Its Formation

Since its formation on March 15, 2121, until March 15, 2025 (today), the Phaikhong Inn Eastern People's Defense Force (PDF) has lost 31 fighters in battles during the Spring Revolution, according to reports.

The Phaikhong Inn Eastern PDF—also known as Phaikhong Battalion 1006 under the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG)—was established by local revolutionary forces in Phaikhong Township on March 15, 2121.

Its first operation on March 15, 2121, involved eliminating a military officer and a police commander from SAC Battalion 7 in Phaikhong. Since then, the battalion has actively participated in battles alongside its allied forces.

On the fourth anniversary of its formation, Phaikhong 1006 Battalion reaffirmed its commitment to fighting alongside revolutionary allies until victory is achieved. The battalion declared that it will continue making history in the struggle for liberation.

Honoring the 31 fallen comrades, the battalion pledged to remember them always and officially recorded this date as a commemoration of their sacrifice in the fight for true democracy.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Two Civilians Injured by SAC Artillery Fire in Wari Kaw Khu

At approximately 8:30 PM on March 14, artillery shells fired by SAC Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 422, based in Moebye on the Shan-Karenni border, struck Wari Kaw Khu, injuring two local residents—one woman and one man—according to KPV News.

A 37-year-old woman suffered a fractured leg, while a 21-year-old man sustained a head injury on the right side. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment.

SAC forces are launching a full-scale offensive to recapture Moebye, engaging in heavy clashes with revolutionary forces. Amid the fighting, SAC has been using drones, artillery, and incendiary bombs, resulting in the destruction of at least 15 houses, according to Shan Tactical Unit 1.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. Three Killed, Including a Novice Monk, in Airstrike on Western Myaing

On March 14, SAC warplanes bombed Su Win Village and Wai Taung (1) Monastery and its northern residential area in Myaing Township, Magway Region, killing three civilians, including a novice monk, and injuring over ten others, according to We Love Myaing.

At around 12:00 PM, two fighter jets from Magway Air Base and one from Meiktila Air Base carried out an unprovoked airstrike on western Myaing.

In Su Win Village, a residential house was destroyed, and two civilians were injured.

At Wai Taung (1) Monastery, a bomb directly hit the building, setting it on fire. A 30-year-old novice monk and two men in their 20s were killed. Additionally, a monk, three other novice monks, and six civilians were injured.

In Wai Taung (1) Village (North), four civilian homes were destroyed, and about seven villagers were injured.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 4. SAC Sergeant Disguised as a Civilian for Espionage Shot Dead During Capture in Gyobingauk

A sergeant from the SAC military, disguised as a civilian to gather intelligence, was shot dead while attempting to escape after being captured by GBK PDF near U Yin Gyi Village in Gyobingauk Township, Thayarwady District, Bago Region, according to a GBK PDF statement.

At around 2:00 PM on March 15, YOMA GBK PDF security forces apprehended the sergeant, identified as Zeya Htet, near their security outpost. He had disguised himself as a plastic collector to avoid suspicion.

Upon searching his mobile phone, they discovered photos of him undergoing military training, wearing an SAC uniform, and carrying weapons. While being interrogated, he attempted to flee, prompting the security team to shoot him dead.

Zeya Htet was reportedly a close associate of Aye Min Oo, a known SAC enforcer in Gyobingauk Township, infamous for extorting civilians and subjecting them to brutal oppression.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 5. Four Junta Soldiers Defect to Infantry Battalion (4-10) in Myingyan District

The National Unity Government (NUG) has reported that four junta soldiers have defected, bringing weapons and ammunition, to the Natogyi People’s Defense Force (NPDF) under Infantry Battalion (4-10) in Myingyan District, Mandalay Region, Military Region No. 1.

According to the report, the defecting soldiers were forcibly conscripted into Light Infantry Battalions (LIB) 253 and 113 through recruitment drives under the junta’s People’s Military Service Training, specifically from Weekly Batches (5) and (7) during the second week of March.

The defectors have been identified as Privates Saw Aung Min Tun, Wai Yan Soe, Thiha Aung, and Sai Htut Khaung. They surrendered with one MA-1 assault rifle, three magazines, and 100 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition.

The four defectors were warmly received and provided with financial rewards before being safely transported to liberated territory according to their wishes.

Additionally, the Natogyi People’s Defense Force (NPDF), Infantry Battalion (4) of Myingyan District, and Infantry Battalion (10) of Myingyan District have provided financial and material support to the families of fallen revolutionary heroes who sacrificed their lives in the people's resistance war. This marks the second round of such support initiatives.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 6. Fourth Anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Commemoration Ceremony

The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) celebrated its 4th anniversary on March 15 at a location within liberated territory, according to an official statement from the organization.

The ceremony featured the hoisting of the People's Liberation Army’s flag, alongside a tribute to the flags of the Burma Communist Party and the PLA. The event included a moment of respect for fallen comrades with a ceremonial gun salute, the singing of revolutionary songs, a military parade, and a formal tribute to the PLA's Commander-in-Chief. Additionally, speeches were delivered by various leaders.

The ceremony concluded with the singing of the international anthem in unison as a mark of solidarity.

The PLA, the armed wing of the Burma Communist Party, was re-established on March 15, 2021. This year marks the 4th anniversary of its reformation.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 7. 901st Battalion in Naypyidaw Military Region Holds Training Completion Ceremony

The Ministry of Defense under the National Unity Government (NUG) has announced the completion ceremony of the (4/2025) military training course at the 901st Battalion Camp under the Naypyidaw Military Region, Strategic Command 17.

The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Commander of the Naypyidaw Military Region, Brigadier General Let Kyaw, Deputy Commander/Chief of Military Operations Brigadier General Ngwe Soe, Chief of Logistics Brigadier General Duwun, and Dr. Joseph, a member of the Regional Military Command’s health department. Other attendees included the commander of the 804th Battalion, officials from allied forces, local administrative officers, and revolutionary comrades.

During the event, Brigadier General Let Kyaw delivered a speech, followed by a reading of an official message from the NUG’s Ministry of Defense by Brigadier General Ngwe Soe. Certificates of completion and awards for outstanding trainees were also presented.
