๐๐ 1. Prime Minister Man Win Khine Than Calls for Intensified Efforts in Six Key Sectors, Including Politics, Foreign Affairs, and Military Affairs
Prime Minister Man Win Khine Than has urged the government to work diligently and systematically across six key sectors—politics, foreign affairs, military affairs, administration, finance, and public relations—to ensure greater effectiveness and success. During the government cabinet meeting on March 5, 2025 (8/2025), he emphasized the need for focused and coordinated efforts in structuring and refining these sectors.
At the meeting, the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration presented the structural framework and operational roadmap for the Federal Union Coordination and Implementation Committee. Additionally, Deputy Minister U Kyaw Ni of the Ministry of Labour briefed the cabinet on the ministry’s recent activities. Following these presentations, the Prime Minister provided clarifications and engaged in further discussions on the topics presented.

NUG Foreign Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung remarked, "The world is not in a state to be laughed at. The entire world order is in disarray, and for small nations, this presents an extremely dangerous situation. For countries entangled by authoritarian regimes and for people struggling under conflict and military dictatorship, the growing dominance of a lawless world is nothing to celebrate.
We have only ourselves to rely on. Standing firm for the truth and justice requires courage, determination, wisdom, and unity. Only through these means can we endure and overcome the most difficult times."
Her statement was shared via social media, reaffirming the ongoing struggle for Myanmar’s future. Meanwhile, both the United Nations and ASEAN continue to show interest in finding a resolution to Myanmar’s crisis.

๐๐ 3. EU Allocates €76 Million in Humanitarian Aid, with €33 Million Designated for Myanmar
The European Union has allocated €76 million in humanitarian aid to address urgent needs in South and Southeast Asia, where severe crises have affected many vulnerable communities.
According to a March 5 announcement from the EU’s Myanmar office, €33 million of this funding will specifically support those affected by ongoing conflicts in Myanmar. This aid aims to provide relief to people suffering from the humanitarian consequences of the crisis.

๐๐ 4. Houses and Temples Collapse in Ma-Ubin Due to Earthquake
On March 5, beginning at 4:36 a.m., a series of four earthquakes struck near Nyaungdon Township, Ayeyarwady Region, with the strongest measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale. According to local reports, the tremors caused the collapse of structures, including the Zawtikarayon Monastery pagoda hall and residential buildings in Ma-Ubin.
The earthquakes led to the collapse of the concrete roofing of the pagoda hall in Zawtikarayon Monastery, as well as the upper staircase shelter of the Sain Loon rest house, causing damage to the front porch. Additionally, a section of the brick wall surrounding a football field in Ward 2 of Ma-Ubin collapsed, along with some buildings in Sein Hinthar Monastery and the Union Novice Monk Education Center.
Further structural damage was reported at the Zaymmya Kanttha Thatthana Pagoda, where the large glass entrance doors shattered, cracks appeared in the foundation of the main stupa, and three smaller stupas to the east developed visible cracks. Other damage included the partial collapse of the eastern section of the 108 Mountain Pagodas, the destruction of the walls of the Amataw Ma Mya Sein Nann building, and structural fractures in warehouse walls.
Subsequent earthquakes were recorded east of Nyaungdon: a 4.8 magnitude quake at 4:54 a.m., followed by two smaller quakes measuring 3.5 at 5:20 a.m. and 5:23 a.m., approximately 23 and 25 miles from Nyaungdon, respectively.

๐๐ 5. "The Promise" Campaign Provides Insurance Assistance to Injured CDM Healthcare Workers
Between January and February 2025, the "The Promise" campaign under the CDM Medical Network provided financial assistance to injured healthcare workers participating in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM).
Launched in May 2024, the campaign has been running for nearly a year, offering monthly financial aid to CDM healthcare workers based on the severity of their injuries.
In January 2025, the campaign provided MMK 1,975,000 (approximately 1.975 million kyats) to 28 injured healthcare workers. In February 2025, MMK 3,300,000 (3.3 million kyats) was distributed among 51 injured individuals.
Significant support was also provided to victims of the bombing of Kyaukme Hospital in Shan State.
The campaign aims to sell 900 insurance units per month to sustain assistance efforts, and ongoing contributions from donors remain essential.

With the enthusiastic support of Myanmar expatriates in South Korea, revolutionary artist Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein successfully raised KRW 229,575,500 (approximately MMK 680 million) from the "Phyu Phyu in Korea" concert.
Expressing her gratitude, Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein shared her excitement about the success of the event, describing it as a joyful and heartwarming achievement.
The funds raised will be strategically allocated to critical sectors supporting the Myanmar people in their ongoing struggle.
