๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. KIA Joint Forces Capture at Least Five Outposts Under SAC’s 21st Military Operations Command

Revolutionary forces are reportedly conducting heavy assaults against positions and military camps occupied by SAC troops in Banmaw City, according to Banmaw Scout Team sources.

On the morning of April 26, joint forces led by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) successfully captured no fewer than five outposts under SAC’s 21st Military Operations Command, as well as additional SAC-held positions within Banmaw City.

Amidst the fierce battles, the SAC is retaliating with heavy airstrikes, artillery bombardments, and drone operations. Intense fighting has been reported on both sides.

Civilian areas near the conflict zones have reportedly suffered significant destruction, with some civilian casualties indicated. However, confirmation of the extent of civilian harm remains challenging at this stage.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Fifteen SAC Personnel, Including Three Officers, Seriously Injured in Rocket Attack on Ka Pa Sa (13) Munitions Factory

The Brave Warrior Myanmar (BWM) group announced that a rocket attack using 107mm short-range artillery rounds targeted the SAC’s Ka Pa Sa (13) munitions factory in Sin Paung Wae, Magway Region, resulting in serious injuries to fifteen personnel, including three officers.

The attack, carried out on April 25 by BWM in coordination with allied forces, involved the launch of ten 107mm rockets that struck and exploded within the factory compound.

Three of the rockets detonated inside the Primer Workshop, causing severe damage, while a Chemical Shop was also hit and subsequently destroyed by fire.

In addition, a 5,000-gallon fuel storage tank was ignited and destroyed during the attack. The incident resulted in severe injuries to three officers and twelve soldiers, some of whom are in critical condition.

Among the twelve injured soldiers, five were later confirmed dead. The remaining wounded officers and soldiers have been evacuated to the 16/100 Military Hospital in Magway for further medical treatment, according to preliminary reports.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. Joint Forces Attack SAC’s Kha Ma Ya (588) Battalion with 107mm Rockets

The Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF) announced that revolutionary forces launched a rocket attack against the SAC’s Kha Ma Ya (588) Battalion stationed at Mawkanin Village, Ye Township, Mon State.

The assault took place at approximately 1:30 PM on April 24, during which five 107mm rockets were fired at the target. Of these, three rockets successfully struck and exploded at designated targets.

While an investigation into SAC casualties is ongoing, it has been confirmed that the revolutionary forces suffered no casualties and successfully withdrew following the operation.

The attack was jointly conducted by the Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF), the Anti-Dictatorship Force of the New Mon State Party (NMSP-AD), and the People’s Defense Force (Donat Battalion).

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 4. Eight SAC Troops and Pyusawhti Militia Members Killed in Attack on Military Outpost West of Salin Town

In the early hours of April 26, joint forces of the People's Defense Forces (PDF) and Pa Ka Pha units launched an assault on a military outpost near Wethti Kan, west of Salin Town.

According to sources from the No. 5 Battalion under Minbu District Command, a firefight lasting approximately 20 minutes occurred following the initial assault.

The attack was led by forces from the No. 5 Battalion and the Yenanthar Column of Pa Ka Pha Magway Region, who initiated the engagement with RPG fire from a distance of approximately 30 meters before attempting to storm the outpost.

However, as revolutionary forces advanced, SAC units stationed on Shan Ywa Hill launched 60mm artillery attacks, forcing the revolutionary forces to retreat without sustaining casualties.

The engagement resulted in the deaths of eight SAC personnel, including both soldiers and Pyusawhti militia members.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 5. Four Civilians Killed by SAC's 500-Pound Bombs on Htein Pan Village, Myinchan

In Myinchan Township, Mandalay Region, the SAC (State Administration Council) forces conducted airstrikes on Htein Pan Village using 500-pound bombs, resulting in the deaths of four civilians and injuries to several others, according to reports.

On the afternoon of April 25, SAC forces carried out an airstrike with a fighter jet, dropping three 500-pound bombs. The attack caused the destruction of a school building and eight homes. Four family members were killed, and one individual was critically injured, it was reported.

In addition to bombing Htein Pan Village, SAC forces also fired point-blank rounds from heavy machine guns around the vicinity of a local revolutionary base in the Anyar region. Separately, junta troops stationed in Lae Thit Village also fired heavy artillery shells, according to local sources.

Although some revolutionary camps in the Anyar region sustained damage during the attack, no injuries among resistance fighters were reported.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 6. Eight-Year-Old Child Killed in Landmine Explosion in Kyaukme

In Pan San Village, under Kyaukme Township's Kyushaw Village Tract in northern Shan State, an explosion of an unexploded ordnance (UXO) claimed the life of an eight-year-old child and injured four others, according to a statement from the Ta'ang Women's Organization.

The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on April 24, when children returning from tea leaf picking with their mothers found and played with an unexploded ordnance along the road, causing it to detonate.

As a result of the explosion, eight-year-old Maing Zaw Min died instantly, while one 11-year-old boy and three children aged four were each injured.

Among the injured, the young boy sustained severe injuries to both legs and requires steel implants for treatment. However, the family is facing significant financial difficulties in securing the necessary medical care, according to a local resident assisting the family.

From 2021 to early 2022, clashes between the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) occurred in Kyushaw, Hoo Kwat, and Chone Thit/Haung Village Tracts, leaving many UXOs and landmines uncleared to this day, according to local sources.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 7. During Ceasefire Period, SAC Attacks Kill 20, Including One Karen Resistance Fighter and 19 Civilians in KNU Territory

The Karen National Union (KNU) reported that despite a declared ceasefire, the SAC launched attacks using heavy artillery and aerial bombings in KNU-administered areas, resulting in the deaths of one Karen resistance fighter and 19 civilians.

Between April 2 and April 22 — during the official ceasefire period — the SAC violated human rights with over 107 instances of aerial bombings and heavy artillery shelling targeting civilians, according to KNU.

Specifically, SAC forces conducted 63 aerial assaults using fighter jets, helicopters, and drones, killing one Karen resistance fighter and 14 civilians, while three monks and 34 civilians were injured.

Additionally, 43 incidents of heavy artillery shelling were recorded, killing five civilians and injuring 18 others, while 16 civilian homes were destroyed.

Furthermore, one arson attack was recorded, in which four homes and one monastery were burned down. Two civilians were arbitrarily arrested, and two others were injured after stepping on landmines planted by the SAC, according to reports.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 8. Special Security and Counter-Terrorism Force (SSTF) Holds Third Batch Graduation Ceremony

The Special Security and Counter-Terrorism Force (SSTF), operating under the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration of the National Unity Government (NUG) and affiliated with the People's Police, held the graduation ceremony for its third training batch, according to official announcements.

The ceremony took place on March 31 in a liberated area, following a four-month intensive training period.

The event was attended by Deputy Chief of the People's Police Tun Tun Win, Commander Ko Soe Aung of Cowherd Battalion No. 10, Ko Thura from the People's Defense Force (PDF), Moekok People's Security Force Commander Ko Tut Pi, and Amarapura People's Security Force Commander Ko Moe Lwin.

The trainees included PDF officers and People's Security Force members from Moekok, Naungcho, Pyin Oo Lwin, Amarapura, Mandalay, and Cowherd regions. The training program focused on urban warfare tactics and special operations skills.

The SSTF announced that recruitment for the fourth batch of training is ongoing nationwide.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 9. A SAC Soldier from LIB-273 in Kanpauk, Yebyu Township Defected from the Frontline with Weapons and Ammunition

In Yebyu Township, a soldier from the SAC forces based at Kanpauk under Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 273 defected from a frontline position and surrendered on April 21, bringing weapons and ammunition with him, according to an announcement by the No. (2) Battalion of the People's Defense Force (PDF) in Myeik District.

The defecting soldier has been identified as a 22-year-old corporal.

It was reported that he surrendered with one MA-1 rifle, 150 rounds of ammunition, and four magazines.
