๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. NUG Acting President Duwa Lashi La Urges Armed Resistance Groups in Chin State to Resolve Disputes Peacefully
July 9
With the entire ethnic population united in resisting the violent military junta, National Unity Government (NUG) Acting President Duwa Lashi La has called on all armed revolutionary groups operating in Chin State to swiftly seek peaceful solutions to their internal differences.
Addressing key Chin resistance forces—namely the Chin National Front/Chin National Army (CNF/CNA), the Chin National Organization/Chin National Defense Force (CNO/CNDF), and the Chinland Defense Force – Hualngoram (CDF-Hualngoram)—the Acting President emphasized the need for the groups to address their divergent views and internal conflicts through nonviolent means and mutual understanding.
He expressed concern over the escalation of armed clashes and mounting military tensions that have occurred since July 4 between these Chin resistance forces, particularly CNDF, CNF/CNA, and CDF-Hualngoram, operating across Chin State.
Duwa Lashi La underscored that this is a crucial time when the entire ethnic population is collectively resisting a common enemy—the violent military junta—and that revolutionary groups must therefore prioritize unity, mutual trust, and strong collaboration.
He stressed that when ideological or strategic differences arise between revolutionary forces, they must be resolved not through armed confrontation but through civilized political dialogue, which is essential for reaching the ultimate goals of the revolution.
Consequently, he strongly urged all relevant Chin resistance forces to immediately cease any attempts to resolve disagreements through military means, and instead engage in political negotiations to seek peaceful solutions that reflect the will of the Chin people.
The Acting President concluded by expressing his hope that all armed revolutionary groups in Chin State will be able to resolve their differences peacefully, build strong unity, and carry forward the interests of the Chin people and the broader revolutionary cause.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Four Civilians Killed, Twelve Injured in Junta Airstrikes on Mogok and Kyaukme
July 9
Four civilians were killed and twelve others injured after the military junta carried out airstrikes on Mogok in Mandalay Region and Kyaukme in northern Shan State, according to a report from the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).
At 9:05 a.m. on July 8, a junta jet fighter dropped a 500-pound bomb on Gaung U Ward, located in the western part of Mogok, killing Daw Khin Myo Htway, Daw Khin Thar Ri, and U Hla Thein, and seriously injuring eight other civilians. The strike also destroyed ten homes, according to the report.
Just two minutes earlier, at 9:03 a.m., without any ongoing clashes in the area, junta forces deliberately dropped two 250-pound bombs from jet fighters targeting civilian-populated Peace Hill in Kyaukme, causing further destruction.
The bombing in Kyaukme resulted in the death of 56-year-old Daw Myint Myint Than. In addition, Aung Thet Paing, U Wai, Daw Pote, and U Aik Shwe were seriously injured. Seven homes were damaged in the blast.
Earlier, on July 5, another bomb dropped by a junta jet on Ward No. 2 in Kyaukme had already destroyed four buildings.
Despite no clashes occurring in these areas, the junta continues to deliberately target civilians with aerial bombings, increased troop deployments, military offensives, and heavy artillery shelling. In response, the PSLF/TNLA Information Department urged civilians to remain constantly alert to military threats and follow appropriate air raid precautionary measures to protect themselves from future airstrikes.
