๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Electricity pylons supplying SAC’s Factory (Ka Pa Sa-22) in Saikphyu Township destroyed

According to the Saikphyu Pyauk Kyarr One-Man Guerrilla People’s Defense Force, electricity pylons that supplied power to the military council’s arms factory Ka Pa Sa-22 in Saikphyu Township, Magway Region, were blown up and destroyed.
On August 17, pylons transmitting electricity to Ka Pa Sa-22 were attacked with mines in a joint operation carried out by the Northern Saikphyu Force, the Paung Township People’s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha), and the Saikphyu Pyauk Kyarr Guerrilla Group.
The attack was carried out during rainy weather, and revolutionary forces were able to withdraw safely without casualties. As of now, junta forces have not yet repaired or replaced the damaged pylons.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. SAC’s Tarpyat Gate checkpoint in Nyaung Lay Pin attacked by sniper, one soldier killed

At around 10:39 AM on August 23, the Fire Dragon People’s Defense Force (PDF) carried out a sniper attack on the military council’s Tarpyat Gate checkpoint along the Madauk–Shwegyin road in Nyaung Lay Pin Township.
One junta soldier was killed on the spot. Revolutionary forces successfully withdrew without casualties.
After the attack, junta troops stationed at the Tharthana Vihara Monastery in Puzun Myaung Village fired indiscriminately with 40mm launchers and small arms, but no revolutionary fighters were harmed.
Along the Nyaung Lay Pin–Madauk–Shwegyin road, the SAC maintains Muk Kham Gate, Tarpyat Gate, and Yekyichaung Gate checkpoints, guarded by soldiers from Light Infantry Battalions (LIB) 20 and 264, Pyu Saw Htee militia, and police.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Junta troops and Pyu Saw Htee militia from Lin Zin police station hit landmine while on patrol

On August 22, junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militia from Lin Zin Police Station in Salin Township stepped on a landmine planted on the path between Lin Zin Police Station and Buu Khar Village, in the Thanatkha Field area.
The mine had been set by the Daung Nyi Naung Guerrilla Force. Following the explosion, a clash broke out and lasted about five minutes.
The junta side carried away their dead and wounded before retreating back to Lin Zin Police Station.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Four Deemawso PDF fighters fall in battle at Daung Kha Road Junction

The Deemawso Local PDF, Battalion 2, announced that four of its comrades were killed in the battle at Daung Kha road junction in Deemawso Township, Karenni State.
On August 18, while fighting bravely for the nation and the people, the following Deemawso LPDF fighters gave their lives:
- Company Commander Khun Aung Thet (age 21)
- Company Commander Saw Nikethu (aka Khwa Si, age 21)
- Platoon Commander Khun Ti Ya (age 21)
- Private Aung Lin Oo (age 23)
They were honored for upholding the oath: “We pledge to sacrifice our lives for the establishment of a Federal Union.”
The Deemawso PDF Battalion 2 officially recognized them as fallen heroes and martyrs.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Man shot dead in Naung Pin Village, Kyaukme Township; monastery in Kun Salan Village bombed

On the morning of August 23, a junta column entered Naung Pin Village, Kyaukme Township, near the railway line, and shot dead a man who had been left behind in the village due to financial hardship, according to Shwe Phi Myay News Agency.
The deceased was a resident of Zi Pin Village, near Naung Pin. He had fled to Naung Pin to escape clashes but was killed when junta troops opened fire.
That same morning, the junta also carried out an airstrike near Naung Pin Market, during which several homes were destroyed by fire. Reports indicate that there were civilian casualties and injuries.
In Ward 4, Naung Pin Village, six civilians—including children—were trapped amid the fighting. The trapped group included people ranging in age from 3 years old to over 70, some of whom were wounded and in need of medical assistance.
Similarly, on August 23 at around 3:30 PM, the junta dropped a 500-lb bomb from a jet fighter on the monastery in Kun Salan Village.
The bombing severely damaged nearly all monastery buildings, and there may have been fatalities, according to reports.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 6. Junta airstrike on monastery in Zagar Pin Village, Madaya Township, with 500-lb bomb

According to Voice of Mandalay, on August 23, the military council carried out an airstrike on the monastery in Zagar Pin Village, Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, using a 500-lb bomb.
At 9:16 AM, a jet fighter from Tada U Air Base dropped the bomb directly on the monastery.
It is also reported that on the previous evening, August 22 at around 7:30 PM, the same monastery was attacked with a suicide drone.
Furthermore, on August 22 at around 5:02 PM, junta troops set fire to houses near Kyauk Tan Ta Village in Madaya Township.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Rฤmaรฑรฑa Mon Army holds graduation ceremony for 5th weekly basic military training course

The Mon State Party (Anti-Dictatorship) / Rฤmaรฑรฑa Mon Army (NMSP-AD/RMA) announced that it has held the graduation ceremony for its 5th weekly basic military training course.
The ceremony took place on August 20 at a liberated area. Attendees included Deputy Commander Major Nain Ma Agha of the RMA and Commander Pyan Hlwa of the allied Pyan Hlwa Column, who delivered morale-boosting speeches.
It was stated that despite hardships, the trainees persevered with determination, discipline, and courage, and throughout the course demonstrated outstanding abilities. The Rฤmaรฑรฑa Mon Army presented them with certificates of honor in recognition of their performance.
