🚩🚩 1. Military Junta Conducts Another Nighttime Aerial Bombing on Mindat Town

According to local sources, the junta forces carried out another airstrike on Mindat Town around midnight on October 4, after having already dropped bombs from aircraft earlier that morning.
At 11:43 p.m. on October 4, a fighter jet that took off from Nay Pyi Taw’s airbase dropped two bombs on one location within Mindat Town.
Records show that the terrorist junta frequently conducts aerial bombardments on Mindat, a town under the control of Chin Brotherhood Forces, including the Chinland Defense Force (CDF-Mindat).
According to the CDF-Mindat’s Information and Documentation Department, the junta launched two airstrikes on two separate locations in Mindat around 1:30 a.m. on October 4.
Those morning attacks destroyed several civilian homes and left three civilians seriously injured.
Resistance forces have urged the public to remain vigilant against air raids, warning that the terrorist military has been escalating its aerial attacks on towns and territories it has lost control over.

🚩🚩 2. Three Junta Soldiers Killed and Five Injured in Remote-Control Mine Attack on Soldiers Extorting Money along Mandalay–Monywa Road

According to the Monywa District Battalion No. 4, a remote-controlled mine attack was carried out on junta soldiers who were extorting money from travelers on the Mandalay–Monywa Highway — the route connecting Monywa in Sagaing Region and Mandalay City.
The attack killed three soldiers and injured five others.
The mine explosion occurred at 5:35 p.m. on October 4, targeting junta troops who were oppressing travelers and collecting illegal tolls.
As the first explosion instantly killed three soldiers, a reinforcement unit of about 30 junta troops arrived at the scene — but a second mine was detonated, wounding another five soldiers, according to Battalion No. 4.
The attack was jointly carried out by units under the Monywa District People’s Defense Force (PDF) — Battalion 4 (Company 25/Commando Force), Monywa The Boys (Special Commando Unit of Battalion 4), Monywa PDF Battalion 28 (Company 3), Tamu District PDF Battalion 4 (TSG), and the ChinDwin Fighter Group.
The Battalion also warned civilians to avoid following behind junta convoys when traveling along the Mandalay–Monywa Road for their own safety.

🚩🚩 3. Seven Junta Soldiers Killed, Four Captured in Shwebo After Resistance Forces Ambushed 60-Man Junta Column

According to a statement from the Shwebo District People’s Defense Force Battalion 18, resistance forces ambushed and attacked a 60-member junta column, killing seven soldiers and capturing four alive, while also seizing weapons and ammunition.
The attacked column, from No. 8 Basic Military Training Unit (Sakhta-8) under Light Infantry Division 33, had advanced on October 2.
The combined resistance forces launched their ambush at 6:30 a.m., as the column entered Taganan Village via the Good Brother Office on the southern edge of Shwebo.
The clash lasted over six hours, during which seven junta soldiers, including Captain San Thwe, were killed and around ten others wounded, according to the statement.
Resistance forces captured one warrant officer and three newly conscripted soldiers, and seized the following items:
- one 60mm Commando mortar,
- one MA-3 rifle,
- one MA-1 rifle,
- one 60mm shell,
- two RPG-7 shells,
- one backpack radio set, and
- one hundred 5.56mm bullets.
During the battle, junta units stationed at the Shwebo GAD Office and No. 2 Supply Depot fired howitzer artillery in support of their ground troops.
One shell landed inside Aung Myay Monastery, near the town’s bus terminal, killing four monks and injuring eight others.
The operation was a joint effort involving Shwebo District Battalions 15, 18, 23, 26, 9706 (Together We Can), District Battalion 4, local defense teams from Shwebo Township, Taik Nya 5, Taw Baw People’s Defense Group, and the Northern Tiger Group.
The resistance side lost two fighters and sustained three injuries.

🚩🚩 4. Junta Airstrike on Taze Township Destroys 18 Civilian Homes and Injures 2 Civilians Despite No Ongoing Battle

According to the Pa Ka Pha (People’s Administrative Team) of Taze Township, Sagaing Region, the terrorist junta conducted unprovoked aerial attacks on Taze Township, destroying 18 civilian homes and injuring two civilians.
The attacks occurred between the night of October 4 and the early morning of October 5, the statement said.
At 9:30 p.m. on October 4, a jet fighter from the Meiktila Shan Ta Air Base bombed Thagara Village and Thagala Village.
Later, at 1:00 a.m. on October 5, a Y-12 aircraft from Tada-U dropped additional bombs on the area.
As a result, 18 civilian homes were destroyed, two civilians injured, and six cows killed, the report confirmed.
Earlier on October 1, the junta had already looted rice from Tanar Village, burned down over 20 houses, and bombed a school in nearby Kha Paung Kyine Village, according to local records.
Due to the junta’s repeated air attacks across Taze Township, locals have been urged to remain on high alert for airstrikes.
The Pa Ka Pha also called on citizens to boycott the junta’s illegal election and continue the revolutionary resistance.

🚩🚩 5. Junta’s Renewed Airstrike on Hsipaw Destroys Monasteries, Pagodas, and Civilian Homes

Sources in Hsipaw Town, Northern Shan State, report that the terrorist junta conducted another aerial bombing on areas controlled by the TNLA (Ta’ang National Liberation Army), destroying monasteries, pagodas, stupas, and residential homes.
At 8:22 p.m. on October 4, junta aircraft dropped five bombs near the former 23rd Infantry Battalion base, close to Hsipaw High School No. 2 and the Kyaukgon Monastery in Kyaukzu Village.
Although no civilian casualties were reported, significant damage occurred to monasteries, pagodas, religious buildings, and houses, forcing residents to evacuate at night to bomb shelters.
Local residents confirmed that the monastic complex, temple halls, and religious stupas suffered serious damage, while eight homes were also destroyed, according to reports from Shwe Phi Myay News Agency.
The junta has bombed Hsipaw three times within a single day, causing extensive destruction and casualties.
Earlier, on October 2 at 10:15 p.m., the junta dropped two 500-pound bombs on the Kumudra Hotel in San Hpaik Village, also in Hsipaw Township, damaging one building, according to the TNLA.
Local sources say the junta may escalate further airstrikes and ground assaults, prompting more residents to flee, while others who remain are living in constant fear.
