📌📌 3. Union Minister Dr. Tu Hkawng urges the people to participate in the CDM movement since it is not only related to government personnel but also to the general public
In January, Dr. Tu Hkawng, Union Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, said the following in his video message to the campaign against military-owned enterprises and related products, “Let’s Boycott Military Products to Feel the Essence of Freedom”:
“The Civilian Disobedience Movement (CDM) does not only refer to government personnel. Civil means ordinary citizens of the country. So, the Civilian Disobedience Movement (CDM) is not only related to government personnel, but it also means a movement in which the people participate overwhelmingly at this kind of time. Military dictators seek authority over the government because it serves their own interests. So, Let’s Boycott Military Products to Feel the Essence of Freedom.”
