📌 Spring Revolution Local News – February 03, 2023 (Evening)
📌📌 1. The Union Prime Minister says that the NUG managed to balance the administration and the rules of law, and hence the consequences of the revolution were able to be reduced as much as possible
Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann remarked the following at the meeting of the Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) held on February 2:
The Union Prime Minister urged “systematic government building,” since “if a system is established nicely, it will undoubtedly be a great help in building a future federal union.” The Union Prime Minister also said, “Although the National Unity Government is the revolutionary government, it managed to reduce the consequences of the revolution as much as possible because it could balance the administration and the rules of law,” and “not only in fighting against the military dictatorship but also along the journey of establishing the federal democratic union that ethnic people long for, action must be taken in the right way in order to achieve the goal as soon as possible.”
Courts have already been established to start legal proceedings in the areas under the control of the National Unity Government.

📌📌 2. Daw Thiri Yadanar, Member of Parliament for Bilin, Mon State, says that the announcement of the National Unity Government for CDM staff is a real encouragement for the national duties to continue to be carried out
Daw Thiri Yadanar, Member of Parliament for Bilin, Mon State, wrote the following on her social media account regarding the National Unity Government’s statement for CDM staff:
“They struggle together with us. They suffered together with us. We will reach the goal together with them. The goal can be seen ahead. Let’s keep fighting together. I bow to them while thanking them and being proud of them. This announcement is really encouraging for the country’s responsibilities to continue to be carried out together with them.”
Most CDM staff agreed with the Bilin MP’s statements in their comments, and some also commented that they were CDM students until now.
On February 1, 2023, the National Unity Government issued a “Statement of commendations and acclamations to be made to the People’s and the Nation’s heroes who have steadfastly and resolutely taken part in the Civil Disobedience Movement for two years.”
The National Unity Government announced that in its statement that all the CDM staff will be awarded National Badges of Honour, and will also be promoted to next higher positions from the positions that they had served before the coup in the post-revolutionary period. Besides, the wages and bonuses of those CDM civil servants that have not been withdrawn since the seizure of power by the military will also be paid in a lump sum in the post-revolutionary period.

📌📌 3. Myanmar people protested in front of the Myanmar Embassy in Berlin, which represents the junta
On February 2, the CRPH, NUG Support Team Germany – Deutschland said that Myanmar people protested in front of the Myanmar Embassy, representing the junta in Berlin, Germany, as follows:
“On February 1, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., revolutionary families from all over Germany and some European countries gathered in front of the Myanmar embassy representing the junta in Berlin and protested to demonstrate that they do not accept the terrorist military and that they are ready to reclaim the lost freedom and justice of the people in Myanmar.”
The CRPH, NUG Support Team Germany – Deutschland also expressed appreciation to the German Solidarity with Myanmar Democracy e.V., the For Federal Myanmar- Berlin Germany e.V. team that volunteers in cooking food, those who assist in selling Treasury Bonds and raffle tickets “KIM and the people together,” and those who joined the protest from various locations despite the bad weather and long distances.

📌📌 4. Unicef Myanmar says that about 300,000 children in Myanmar do not have access to vaccinations
On February 3, Unicef Myanmar said, “300,000 children in Myanmar are at risk of preventable diseases due to lack of vaccination.”
Women, children and the elderly from the ethnic areas are displaced because of the terrorist acts of the junta and most of them still have no access to health care.

📌📌 5. The issue of Myanmar was presented in the Senate of the Italian Parliament
According to the Myanmar Community in Italy, the two Senate lawmakers, Sandra Zampa and Susanna Camusso, spoke about the preservation and courage of the people of Myanmar in their struggle against the dictator during the two years of the military coup, in the Senate.
In addition, they condemned the international community upon the imprisonment of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and said that it is important to show solidarity with the people of Myanmar. Then, the Senate praised Myanmar’s democratic leader, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, who was democratically elected in the 2020 elections.
