📌📌 1. The Acting President said that the military dictatorship must be ended with the power of the people
Acting President Duwa Lashi La said this in his State of Union on September 7, the 2nd anniversary of the declaration of the People’s Revolutionary War.
“To secure our victory as soon as possible, I call on all people to support the revolution in whichever ways they can, and with all their abilities. I encourage the boycotting of military products and military-owned businesses, and the contribution of the money or information to the revolution. We must end the junta through the power of the people,” the Acting President said.
On September 7, 2021, the National Unity Government declared the start of the People’s Resistance War and 2023 as the decisive year for the end of the revolution.
“I send a message to Min Aung Hlaing: stop using public funds to terrorize and kill people. And a message to the clique that is protecting his self-interest and destroying lives and property: stop being used as a tool, leave the military junta. Stand with dignity on the side of the truth. The people will never give Min Aung Hlaing power. They do not accept him,” the Acting President added.

📌📌 2. The Union Prime Minister said that because of the military dictators, Myanmar has a bad reputation in the middle of the world as a country of violent military coups
Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann said the following during the Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) meeting No. (36/2023) held on September 7.
“The revolution of the whole people has reached a certain level of success. However, the low intelligence and big ego of the military dictators have caused public insecurity and bad economic conditions every day, and the country is also in the middle of the world with a bad reputation as a country of terrorist military coups. Even after the success of the revolution, we will have to work hard to make a comeback, so our government, which is fighting alongside the people, should quickly and effectively deal with the issues that need to be processed and prepared,” said the Union Prime Minister.
The meeting was attended by Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Associate Permanent Secretaries, and officials from various departments.

In the two-year period, 12.5 percent of the enemy’s forces have been depleted on the battlefield, according to the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) Second Year Anniversary Report on People’s Defensive War on September 7.
“The Military Council is estimated to maintain a ground force of approximately 65,000 troops, comprising 214 infantry battalions and 307 light infantry battalions. When considering the collective strength of the Military Council, which includes the air force, navy, and supporting forces, the total may range between 225,000 to 240,000 personnel. Over the course of the two-year defensive war, approximately 9,900 battles were waged, resulting in an estimated 30,000 casualties among the Myanmar military ranks. In relative terms, this represents approximately 12.5 percent of the adversary’s total force eliminated on the battlefield during these two years,” the MOD reported.

“On September 4, 22-year-old private Sai Phyo Aung, a soldier from the Infantry Battalion IB-32 of the coup military council based in Kyainseikgyi, Noh Tar Hkaw Township, Dooplaya District of the KNU-Administered area, joined hands with Company-2 of the KNLA – Battalion (17), KNU – Brigade (6) along with weapons and ammunition,” it stated.
The ammunition that comes along with him are 1 MA-1 rifle, 5 pieces of its magazines, 75 rounds of 5.56 ammunition and one set of equipment.
It is reported that he did not like the unjust and oppressive administration system of the coup military council army, so he tried to escape from his army, took refuge in the warm embrace of the people, and will cooperate with ethnic armed revolutionaries until the end of the military dictatorship.

“The “Spring Fund Film Exhibition” is coming for the brothers and sisters from all over Phra Pradaeng who have requested to see films as if they were shown in Maha Chai. Revolutionary films such as “Our Turn”, and “There was” will be shown along with the film “Stateless”. The show is free, but we have a plan for the audience who wants to provide support. We have also organized so that people can buy movie merchandise at a special price. And, before the movie starts, the audience will have the opportunity to meet the film crew through Zoom,” it stated.
The revolutionary films will be screened at the Park Hall behind the Wat Chong Monastery, 74 Suk Sawat Road, Bangkok, on September 17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
