1. The National Unity Government sent a message commemorating the 62nd anniversary of 7th July Student Uprising Day. In this message, the NUG government offered gratitude to the young students who have sacrificed their life. On March 2, 1962, the leader of the terrorist military dictator General Nay Win used weapons to overthrow the people's elected government, repeal the University Act, and oppress students, as well as bomb and destroy the Student Union building in the Yangon University campus. Military leaders of all ages attempted to diminish the influence of the young students, who were always ready for freedom, equality, justice, and righteousness, and bravely opposed bullying and oppression, but "only the union building can be demolished." "No one can destroy the spirit of the union in young students," as Sayargyi Thakin Kodaw Hmaing stated, and the union spirit of the young students is still alive in history. In the People's Spring Revolution of 2021, the terrorist military junta led by Min Aung Hlaing attempted to seize power from the elected government by force, and students, monks, and ethnic groups were threatened with guns, detained, and killed, and their lives and property were destroyed by fire. Because of the ability to innovate and collaborate with ethnically aligned revolutionary forces in a balanced manner, the regime infrastructure that is reviving brutal fascism is gradually disintegrating. The National Unity Government also remembers the sacrifices of young students who fallen in the fight against the military dictatorship, and it is working more closely and openly than ever with allied ethnic resistance forces across the country to ensure the success of the current People's Spring Revolution as soon as possible.
