🚩🚩 1. PLF Sends Congratulatory Message on the Formation of People’s Defense Force Battalion 29 (Irrawaddy PDF)

The People’s Liberation Force (PLF) has sent a congratulatory message regarding the successful and systematic formation of the People’s Defense Force (PDF) Battalion 29 (Irrawaddy PDF).
It was announced on December 27, 2024, that Battalion 29 (Irrawaddy PDF) has been established with well-disciplined and highly capable leaders and soldiers, adhering to proper organizational systems.
The statement also recognized and honored the dedication of each soldier and commander who sacrificed their lives, blood, and sweat to unify and establish the Irrawaddy PDF. It expressed pride in their progress and achievements.
The PLF stated its firm belief that, as a revolutionary force based in the Irrawaddy Delta, Irrawaddy PDF and PLF will continue their shared struggle toward the revolutionary journey hand in hand.
The PLF expressed its wishes for the Irrawaddy PDF to emerge as a disciplined, organized, and trustworthy revolutionary force that the people can rely on. It emphasized its hope for the battalion to become a symbol of the revolution for the Irrawaddy Delta, capable of fulfilling its duties effectively and achieving success and stability.

🚩🚩 2. Warning Issued Against Harboring Three Individuals Who Fled After Killing Two GBK-PDF Soldiers

In the Southern Region Military Zone, Subdivision (2), Thayarwaddy District, Battalion 3802, Sub-Battalion 1 of Dragon Brothers (GBK-PDF), it was reported that three expelled members killed two GBK-PDF soldiers and fled with weapons and ammunition.
According to the GBK-PDF, the three individuals, who were part of a group of four (Yan Naing a.k.a. Kyet Phar, Saw Nay Lin, Chit Htwe, and Lin Htaik) from the ERO faction, were expelled within their first month for armed extortion of civilians and failure to adhere to military discipline. On December 26, at around 2:30 PM, the three remaining individuals allegedly ambushed frontline soldiers on patrol and attempted to flee with weapons and ammunition.
One of the expelled members, Chit Htwe, was lured close under the pretense of a discussion and was killed with a single gunshot to the head. Another soldier, Ko Naing, who responded to the gunfire, was also killed using an M4 rifle. The fugitives took with them an M4 rifle, a magazine with 17 bullets, a pistol, and related ammunition before fleeing.
The GBK-PDF has warned other revolutionary organizations not to harbor the three defectors—Yan Naing a.k.a. Kyet Phar, Saw Nay Lin, and Lin Htaik—who betrayed the group by killing two comrades and fleeing with weapons and ammunition.

🚩🚩 3. Assault on Myakantha Pyu Saw Htee Camp and Pyu Village in Kanbalu Township

According to Battalion 8 of the No. 1 Military Region (Shwebo District), an assault was carried out on the Myakantha Pyu Saw Htee Camp and Pyu Village in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region.
The attack occurred on the evening of December 25, targeting select opposition combatants. The attackers neutralized the Pyu Saw Htee militia forces while warning those who had surrendered to abandon any future involvement in the military junta’s activities. It was advised that they focus on living peacefully with their families in the new year.
During the skirmish, one junta combatant was captured, one enemy combatant was killed, and the revolutionary forces seized two G3 rifles, three carbines, grenades, and other military equipment. The People’s Defense Forces reported no casualties and successfully withdrew from the operation.

🚩🚩 4. Explosion Targets Military Junta Personnel in Taungoo

An explosion targeting military junta personnel and Pyu Saw Htee militia occurred at the Myinda Field Hall in Taungoo Township, Bago Region, according to the Special Urban Guerrilla Force of Taungoo.
The attack took place on December 28 at around 6:45 PM. The junta personnel and Pyu Saw Htee militia were stationed at the Myinda Field Hall to monitor preparations for an Independence Day event organized by the military junta. The explosion was carried out using a powerful long-range mine.
The operation was part of a mission commemorating the first anniversary of renaming the local guerrilla force as the Special Urban Guerrilla Force of Taungoo.
Moving forward, the Special Urban Guerrilla Force stated its commitment to unwavering and aggressive execution of revolutionary missions. The public was advised to refrain from attending festivals or celebrations organized by the military junta and to keep a safe distance from junta personnel and forces.

🚩🚩 5. Air Force Officer Shot and Eliminated While Having Tea in Taungoo

In Taungoo Township, Bago Region, a high-ranking officer from the military junta’s Air Force was shot and eliminated while having tea, according to a statement from the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
At around 7:15 AM on December 29, PLA Battalion 851 (Northwest Military Region) executed the operation, targeting Air Force Major Kyi Phay Lin and his subordinate.
During the operation, the PLA seized the officer’s MA5 MK1 firearm, two magazines, several rounds of ammunition, an official identification card, a mobile phone, and bank cards.

🚩🚩 6. Warning Issued: No Travel on Myingyan-Taungtha Road at Night Until End of January

Battalion 3 in Myingyan District has issued a public advisory to avoid using the Myingyan-Taungtha road between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM until the end of January for safety reasons.
The notice urges civilians to cooperate with revolutionary forces to ensure the smooth execution of their operations. It warns that any unauthorized movement during the restricted hours will be subject to strict action.

🚩🚩 7. PLA Victorious Soldiers of Operation “1027” Honored by Central Myanmar Residents

Soldiers from the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) who participated in and achieved victories during both phases of Operation "1027" were warmly welcomed and celebrated by the local population in a central Myanmar region.
The PLA fighters, alongside allied forces from the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), and Arakan Army (AA), successfully carried out operations in battles to seize key towns such as Hsipaw, Lashio, Muse, and Theinni.
