**1. Revolutionary Efforts Must Be Thorough and Energetic to Liberate the Country and People from the Oppressive Military Regime, Says Acting President Duwa Lashi La**

Acting President Duwa Lashi La emphasized during a government meeting on December 3 that only decisive and vigorous revolutionary efforts can save the country and its people from the oppressive military regime.  


> "Ethnic armed organizations and the people of the nation have immense faith in and expectations from the National Unity Government (NUG). We cannot afford to break this trust. We must demonstrate our commitment to the Spring Revolution with resolute determination. It’s time for everyone to acknowledge the crucial phase we have reached in this journey. The NUG has come this far with unity, and now we face a critical juncture—a turning point for significant change. Only through consistent and committed revolutionary efforts can we liberate our country and people from the brutal military dictatorship," said the Acting President.  


The 29/2024 Government Meeting was attended by Acting President Duwa Lashi La, Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Thann, union ministers, and deputy ministers.

**2. ICC’s Arrest Warrant Against Min Aung Hlaing Presents a Unique Opportunity to Dismantle the Military Junta Permanently, Says Prime Minister**

Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Thann stated during the December 3 government meeting that the application for an arrest warrant against military leader Min Aung Hlaing by the International Criminal Court (ICC) is an opportunity to act decisively against the junta.  


> "The ICC prosecutor has applied for an arrest warrant against Min Aung Hlaing for crimes related to the Rohingya crisis. This development is a critical moment for revolutionary forces to capitalize on this weakening junta and ensure its permanent dismantlement," said the Prime Minister.  


He urged military personnel to make thoughtful decisions, either to continue aligning with a criminal regime or to make the best choices for themselves, their families, and the nation.

**3. Union Minister Dr. Tu Khawng Visits Resistance-Controlled Areas in Central Myanmar to Meet with People’s Defense Forces**

Union Minister Dr. Tu Khawng has reported visiting resistance-controlled territories in central Myanmar to meet with members of the People’s Defense Forces (PDFs).  


> "It’s becoming increasingly challenging to travel across central Myanmar by vehicle, even over a week's journey. The number of such areas will only grow in the near future," the minister remarked.  


Recently, Deputy Education Minister Ja Htoi Pan also met with Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) educators and their families on the ground.

**4. NUG Human Rights Minister Assures That Fighting Citizens Will Soon Achieve Justice and Freedom**

NUG Human Rights Minister U Aung Myo Min expressed on social media that all citizens fighting for freedom will soon live in a land of human rights, justice, and liberty.  


> "On December 10, we will commemorate the 76th International Human Rights Day with the slogan ‘Advancing Human Rights: Building a Just and Free Land.’ After enduring severe atrocities and unforgettable human rights violations, our people are determined to build a future of justice and freedom. I firmly believe that fighting citizens will soon achieve these aspirations," he said.

**5. IIMM Chief Expresses Hope for Justice for Myanmar’s Victims**

Nicholas Koumjian, head of the Independent Investigative Mechanism for Myanmar (IIMM), has expressed hope that Myanmar’s victims will one day achieve justice.  


> "We understand the challenges faced by victims and the slow pace of international justice processes. However, we remain committed to collecting and preserving evidence for future accountability. We are confident that some form of justice will eventually be achieved for Myanmar’s victims," he said.  


The IIMM has compiled over 450 victim statements, data from over 1,000 sources, and shared more than one million pieces of information with international judicial entities addressing crimes related to the Rohingya crisis.

**6. Myanmar Ranked as World’s Highest Risk Nation for Money Laundering in 2024 Basel AML Index**

Myanmar has been ranked the highest-risk country for money laundering in the 2024 Basel AML Index report, released by the Basel Institute on Governance in Switzerland.  


The report evaluates nations using 18 indicators, including rule of law, corruption risks, financial transparency, and political/legal stability. Myanmar ranks alongside countries like North Korea and Iran, reflecting severe deficiencies in addressing financial crime.

**7. 500 Displaced Families in Pale Township Receive Humanitarian Aid**

The NUG Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, along with donors, has provided rice, oil, blankets, and clothing to approximately 500 displaced families in Pale Township.  


This aid includes 80 bags of rice, 11 containers of oil (110 viss), and other essential items, which were distributed with the cooperation of local administrative leaders. The ministry has called on organizations and individuals to continue supporting displaced communities.
