January 21

U Kyaw Zaw, spokesperson for the Presidential Office of the National Unity Government (NUG), announced that the government will collaborate with ethnic alliances and revolutionary forces to intensify the revolution in 2025.

Speaking during the "Press Briefing on Updates to the Public and International Community" broadcasted today, he stated:
"Our National Unity Government will work hand-in-hand with ethnic alliances and revolutionary forces to intensify the revolution in 2025. We aim to prevent human rights violations in Myanmar, end the killing of civilians, eradicate transborder crimes committed by Kyarpyaint groups, and rebuild the nation's economy to free the people from ongoing crises."

He further noted that joint military operations would become stronger in 2025, accompanied by broader political agreements.

“To counter the junta’s atrocities, the international community needs to cut off financial flows to the SAC and take more effective measures. Regardless of any opposition, the military dictatorship is bound to fall,” U Kyaw Zaw added.

He also emphasized the NUG’s ongoing collaboration with ethnic alliances to lay the foundation for a federal democratic union, stating:
"While we continue to fight for the establishment of a Federal Democratic Union, we are already laying its foundations by working jointly with ethnic alliances. For example, the Ministry of Health recently deployed medical personnel and staff to serve in regions such as Karenni and Chin States, ensuring services reach local communities."

He concluded by expressing confidence that the people's revolution, driven by unity and bravery, will ultimately achieve victory, leading to a peaceful, prosperous, and independent Myanmar.

Additionally, U Kyaw Zaw reiterated the demand for the immediate and unconditional release of all political detainees, including Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
