๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Use of Buddhist Scriptures on Weapons at SAC Military Camps Controlled by the Arakan Army (AA)
January 30
Radio NUG
Reports from Rakhine sources reveal that weapons at military camps under SAC (State Administration Council) control, currently overseen by the Arakan Army (AA), are inscribed with Buddhist teachings in a manner contrary to their intended spiritual significance.
It is said that bombs, rockets, and mines bear writings from Buddha’s foundational teachings, including the phrases "Atthi Paccayฤ" and "Natthi Paccayฤ."
"Atthi Paccayฤ" signifies a supportive element that promotes existence or presence.
"Natthi Paccayฤ" implies the absence or cessation, indicating the relinquishment of phenomena.
Buddhist teachings fundamentally reject violence, killings, and oppression, advocating for peace and non-violence instead.
However, the violent SAC military not only oppresses and kills innocent civilians nationwide with its weapons but also desecrates sacred Buddhist teachings by misappropriating them on deadly instruments of war.
