With humanitarian concern for displaced mothers and children, a donation of 50,000 Japanese Yen was made to the Ministry of Women, Youth, and Children Affairs (MOWYCA) of the National Unity Government (NUG). The donation was received by Union Minister Naw Susanna Hla Hla Soe.
Across Myanmar, due to the oppression of the military dictatorship, displaced mothers and children are facing severe hardships. Acknowledging this, the We for All family generously contributed 50,000 Japanese Yen to MOWYCA. The ministry expressed deep gratitude for their humanitarian support.
Additionally, MOWYCA extended its well wishes to all We for All members, hoping for their continued safety, good health, and even greater dedication to the nation and its people.

๐๐ 2. Online Fraud Operations Are a Revenue Source for the Terrorist Military Council, Says Presidential Office Spokesperson

Online fraud operations (Kyarpyaint) serve as a source of revenue for the terrorist military council, according to Presidential Office Spokesperson U Kyaw Zaw.
During the NUG Press Briefing on Public and International Affairs, U Kyaw Zaw stated:
"Over the past four years since the military coup, regions under the control of the junta and its allied armed groups have seen a massive surge in online fraud and criminal activities. Reports indicate that such operations are also occurring in major cities like Yangon. Kyarpyaint operations constitute a transnational organized crime network that has victimized millions. It is also a significant revenue stream for the terrorist military council. Not only Myanmar citizens but also individuals from neighboring and regional countries, as well as those from as far as the United States, have suffered from these scams."
The NUG welcomed efforts by Thailand and China in addressing the Kyarpyaint issue in Myanmar’s southern regions.
"As we have jointly declared with our allies, the NUG is fully prepared to cooperate in eradicating Kyarpyaint operations," U Kyaw Zaw reaffirmed.

๐๐ 3. Individuals Providing Information to IIMM Are Communicating from Within Myanmar Amidst Risks
Individuals supplying information and evidence to the Independent Investigative Mechanism for Myanmar (IIMM) are doing so while facing significant risks inside the country, said Nicholas Koumjian, head of the IIMM, during a European Parliament Human Rights Subcommittee session on February 18.
He stated:
"Those providing us with evidence are communicating from dangerous conditions inside Myanmar. We also maintain direct contact with individuals within the country. We deeply appreciate their bravery in sharing crucial information. Additionally, we are grateful for the European Union’s support. To end impunity in Myanmar and establish lasting peace, we rely on your assistance."
Currently, the IIMM has collected over 1,000 sources of information, including testimonies from more than 450 victims and witnesses.
The mechanism has also shared over one million pieces of evidence and nearly 100 analytical reports with judicial authorities at the International Criminal Court (ICC), the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and the Argentine judiciary, which are handling cases related to the Rohingya genocide.

The "Academy Statue" fundraising campaign led by Actress Paing Phyo Thu will only be open for participation until February 20, 12:00 AM Myanmar Time, according to an official announcement.
After the campaign concludes, a voting session will take place on February 21, requiring timely preparations. ArtistsShelter, the organizing body, stated that no further contributions will be accepted after the deadline.
The selection process for the winning participant will be conducted by Paing Phyo Thu and fellow artists, and it will be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube.
The "Academy Statue" campaign has been running from February 1 to February 20. Donations can be made through designated fundraisers based in different countries, allowing contributors to donate in their preferred amounts. Every donation is recorded with a serial-numbered certificate as a token of appreciation.
