The Chairman of the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF), Comrade Than Khae, Vice Chairman Comrade La Sai, and Central Military Commission Secretary Comrade Hla The, visited various operational regions of the Student Army’s No. (1), No. (2), and No. (3) Battalions. During their visit, they met with respective battalion commanders, unit members, Union Minister U Yee Mon from the National Unity Government (NUG) Ministry of Defense, allied organization leaders, other responsible officials, and local civilians, according to a statement from ABSDF.
During the discussions, they exchanged views on the current political and military situation.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Attack on Military Camp Stationed at Kyauk Taing Hospital in Min Tun Township

At approximately 2:20 a.m. on February 20, resistance forces launched an assault on a military camp of the terrorist junta stationed at Kyauk Taing Hospital along the Pathein-Monywa highway in Min Tun Township. The junta troops, numbering around 50, had been oppressing civilians in the area. The attack was confirmed by the Pa Ka Pha of Upper Min Hla Township.
The battle lasted for 40 minutes, but the resistance forces were unable to overrun the camp due to intense counterattacks and a shortage of ammunition, forcing them to retreat. The junta forces suffered two casualties and three critically wounded, while at least ten others sustained minor injuries.
The operation was led by the Magway Region Pa Ka Pha’s Special Task Force (USB Army) in coordination with Pa Ka Pha units from Min Tun and Upper Min Hla Townships.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Attack on Kyit Kine Security Checkpoint, a Frontline Post of Pwintbyu Agriculture Battalion

At around 4:30 a.m. on February 21, resistance forces attacked the Kyit Kine security checkpoint, a frontline post of the Pwintbyu Agriculture Battalion, located near the entrance of Pwintbyu Township, approximately 5 miles from Sanpya village. A firefight ensued between both sides, and investigations into casualties are ongoing, according to a statement from Infantry Battalion No. 7 of Minbu District.
Following the attack, reinforcement troops of around 50 personnel were deployed from Salin to the Agriculture Battalion.
Due to heightened military tensions, civilians have been advised to avoid using the Sanpya-Sedaw road.
The attack was carried out jointly by the Magway Region Pa Ka Pha’s Mobile Column (Yenanthar Column), Infantry Battalion No. 7 of Minbu District, and the Pwintbyu Township People’s Defense Force.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Airstrike on Relay Village in Banmauk Township Leaves Three Civilians Injured, Two in Critical Condition

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on February 21, the terrorist military carried out an airstrike on Relay Village in Banmauk Township, according to local reports.
The aerial bombardment injured three civilians: 44-year-old Maung Chin, 70-year-old Daw Khin, and 40-year-old Daw Khine. Among them, two women sustained critical injuries, and two houses were also damaged in the attack.

On February 21, at around 10:30 AM, the Military Council forces dropped two drone bombs on the monastery in Ummathee Village, Naung Cho Township. Another two drones carried out bombings at approximately 10:45 AM, causing a fire that resulted in significant damage, according to a statement released by PSLF/TNLA.
Similarly, in the morning, junta troops stationed in Ban Bwe Village shelled Sam Ma Hse Village with heavy artillery, destroying three houses, according to reports.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 6. Four Men Wearing PSLF/TNLA Uniforms Arrested in Kyaukme for Extorting Money

The law enforcement unit arrested four men in Kyaukme for wearing PSLF/TNLA uniforms and extorting money from the public, according to a statement from PSLF/TNLA.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Aung Hein (14 years old), A Khe (18 years old), Aik Phyo (21 years old), and Aung Kham (16 years old). Aung Hein and A Khe were apprehended on February 12, while Aik Phyo and Aung Kham were arrested on February 16.
They were reportedly wearing PSLF/TNLA uniforms while extorting money from drivers, breaking into civilian homes, and demanding cash. Local residents reported their activities to the law enforcement unit, leading to their arrest.
Authorities confiscated PSLF/TNLA uniforms, clothing similar to law enforcement uniforms, knives, and burglary tools. It has been stated that legal action will be taken against them according to the law.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Nine SNA Soldiers Defect to the People’s Side with Weapons

Nine soldiers from the 753rd Battalion of the Shan Ni Army (SNA), based in Homalin Township, defected to the public with their weapons on February 2, according to reports. They coordinated with the People’s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) in Combat Zone 3 of Homalin Township and sought refuge among the people.
The defecting soldiers brought with them:
- Three G-3 rifles
- One AK with a folding stock
- One AK rifle
- One Keychan rifle
- 195 rounds of G-3 ammunition
- 607 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition
The People’s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) in Homalin Township has taken in and provided protection for the defectors. They were also reunited with their families and provided with medical care. Additionally, other revolutionary forces visited them to offer encouragement and necessary assistance.
On February 20, the Kantbalu District Coordination Committee organized an honorary cash reward ceremony for the defectors. The event was attended by district authorities, commanders from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd battalions in Kantbalu District, representatives from the People’s Defense Force, local administration officials, humanitarian officers, healthcare officials, public security officers, finance officers, municipal officials, communications officers, and natural resource management officials, along with local ethnic representatives.
