🚩🚩 1. Over 30 Junta Troops Killed in Ambush on Reinforcement Column Bound for Aung Zeya Frontline in Kyainseikgyi

In Kyainseikgyi Township, Karen State, a reinforcement military column heading to support the Aung Zeya frontline was ambushed, resulting in at least 30 junta troops killed, according to a statement from the Mon Liberation Army (MLA).
The ambush occurred on June 19, targeting a joint column from Military Operations Commands (MOC) 44 and 55, which was en route to reinforce junta troops. The attack was carried out jointly by the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), the Revolutionary Mon Army (RMA), and allied forces. The battle reportedly lasted for over seven hours.
During the clash, around 10 officers, including a battalion commander and a deputy commander, were injured. More than 30 junta troops were reportedly killed.
After securing the area, resistance forces seized a variety of military equipment including MA1, MA2 rifles, RPGs, 60mm commando mortars, RPG shells, assorted bullets, ammunition belts, and military helmets.
As junta forces continue their advance toward Kyainseikgyi, residents in surrounding villages have been urged to remain cautious and restrict movement for their safety.

🚩🚩 2. Around 40 Junta Troops Killed in Clashes Near Myosoe Bridge in Sittaung River Crossing, Thanatpin Township

Clashes occurred near Myosoe Bridge, which spans the Sittaung River in Thanatpin Township, Taungoo District, Bago Region, between junta columns and resistance forces. The engagements reportedly resulted in the deaths of approximately 40 junta soldiers, according to the local People’s Defense Forces (PaKaPha) in Oat Twin Township.
The junta deployed three separate military columns—one from Kywepwe Town in Oat Twin Township toward Koe Taing Village, one from Thanatpin Bridge toward Koe Taing Village, and one from Zayat Gyi Town toward Yay Kyi Kone Village in Thanatpin Township. The total estimated strength of the junta columns was around 280 troops.
From June 12 to 17, fierce clashes broke out between these junta forces and resistance forces, including PDF Southern Command District 2, Joint Strategy Group 23, Battalion 3502, PaKaPha units from Oat Twin and Taungoo Townships, Yonathan Drone Force, and Delta One Drone Force.
According to drone footage and on-ground reports, over 40 junta troops were killed during the five days of fighting. Five resistance fighters from Joint Strategy Group 23 were also injured.

🚩🚩 3. At Least 3 Junta Troops Killed and 2 Captured Alive During Clashes in Salin Township

In Salin Township, Minbu District, Magway Region, at least three junta soldiers were killed and two captured alive during recent clashes, according to a statement from the Peacock Brother Urban Guerrilla Group.
On June 14 and 15, a junta convoy of over 200 troops and four trucks advanced from the Pathein-Monywa highway near Kanpya Village. The resistance forces launched an ambush, forcing the column to retreat back toward Kanpya.
The ambush was executed using five landmines planted by the Daung Nyi Naung Urban Guerrilla Force and Minbu District Battalion 5, resulting in the deaths of three junta troops, including a Warrant Officer, and injuries to eight others.
On June 16, the junta troops reentered via a forest route toward Khinpaluu Village, but were once again repelled by resistance forces. On June 17, they launched another incursion toward Pate Hsi Village.
A half-hour-long firefight ensued in Pate Hsi Village, after which the junta forces retreated, reportedly burning down civilian homes in the village during their withdrawal.
Across the five days of fighting, two junta soldiers were captured alive, according to the statement.
The operations were jointly carried out by the Daung Nyi Naung Urban Guerrilla Force, Minbu District Battalion 5, Battalion 5 Drone Unit, Salin PaKaPha, Minbu District Battalions 1 and 5, Daung Sit Aung LPDF, SLN LPDF, Bamar Army, and the Southern Poketaung Medical Unit.

🚩🚩 4. Female Teacher Killed, Children Injured in Airstrike on School in Pinlebu Township

A junta airstrike targeted a school in Inga Village, Pinlebu Township, Sagaing Region, killing one female teacher and injuring multiple civilians, including children, according to local sources.
At around 4:00 PM on June 20, a fighter jet from the Tatmadaw (junta military), reportedly based at Tada-U Airbase in Mandalay, dropped two bombs on the school.
The bombs, each weighing approximately 500 pounds, struck the school compound, damaging staff quarters, classrooms, and nearby civilian homes.
"A female teacher was killed on the spot. Among the injured are around 10 children, including a 4-year-old, and two of the children are in critical condition, with their lives at risk,” said a spokesperson from the Pinlebu Township People's Defense Group.
Pinlebu Township has been under the control of People’s Defense Forces (PDFs) and allied revolutionary forces operating under the National Unity Government (NUG) since October 2024.

🚩🚩 5. Civilian Injured in Junta Airstrike on Forest Office Compound in Letpanhla Village, Singu Township

At approximately 5:30 PM on June 20, the junta military conducted an airstrike on the forest department compound in Letpanhla Village, Singu Township, injuring one civilian in the leg and destroying two buildings, according to PaKaPha (People’s Defense Force) in Pyin Oo Lwin District.
The junta has been carrying out continuous airstrikes on Madaya, Singu, and Thabeikkyin Townships. On June 18 alone, over 60 bombs were reportedly dropped on the eastern part of Madaya Township.
Due to this military advance, intense clashes have erupted in the area between junta troops and resistance forces, including Mandalay PDF.

🚩🚩 6. Two Young Conscripts in Myeik Surrender with Weapons

Two junta soldiers from Battalion 17 (Infantry), based in Bokpyin, Myeik District, Tanintharyi Region, have defected and surrendered with weapons, according to Myeik District Battalion 1 – P23401.
On June 21, a chief clerk sergeant and a corporal from Battalion 17 surrendered to Myeik District Battalion 1, operating in Zone 35, along with a cache of weapons and ammunition.
The items surrendered include:
- One MA-1 rifle
- One MA-2 submachine gun
- Two hand grenades
- One M14 landmine
- 15 magazines
- 790 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition
The two defectors had been forcibly conscripted during Basic Military Training Batch 2 for the People’s Army, and were assigned to Battalion 17 under duress, according to reports.
They are now being safely sheltered and protected, and necessary assistance is being provided, Myeik District Battalion 1 stated. The group also encouraged others serving under the junta—whether voluntarily or forcibly—to find the courage to break free and defect.
