The Secretariat Team of the Federal Support and Coordination Commission (FSCC) of the National Unity Government (NUG), and the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament, held a regular coordination meeting via Zoom at 5:00 PM on June 20, 2025, according to reports.
Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and other officials from the FSCC Secretariat participated in the meeting, while the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament was represented by its Speaker and parliamentarians.
During the meeting, both sides engaged in a comprehensive, open, and candid discussion regarding perspectives on the Draft Interim Federal Constitution of the Sagaing Federal Unit.
The meeting, officially recorded as Session (8/2025), concluded successfully at 7:10 PM.

📌📌 2. Union Minister Prof. Dr. Zaw Wai Soe Renews Call for Donations Toward Safe Hospital Construction

Union Minister for Education and Health under the National Unity Government, Prof. Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, has reiterated his appeal for public donations to support the construction of Safe Hospitals.
Additionally, it is reported that the Union Minister himself is personally overseeing the processes of selecting, preparing, and developing the sites designated for the construction of these hospitals.
The campaign under the theme “Safe Hospital, Safe Healthcare” aims to raise a target amount of USD 400,000, and will run from May 24 to June 30.

📌📌 3. Amnesty and Sentence Reductions Granted by the Karenni Interim Administration in Commemoration of the 150th Karenni National Day

To commemorate the 150th Karenni National Day, and in recognition of humanitarian compassion, the Karenni Interim Administration has announced that 176 detainees and prisoners held across various prisons and detention camps have been granted sentence reductions or full amnesty.
According to the statement, the clemency is issued under Section (75), Subsection (b) of the Karenni Interim Administrative Order, covering those who had already been convicted and sentenced for offenses committed prior to June 21, 2025.
Of the total, 148 individuals received sentence reductions, while 28 individuals were granted full pardons.

📌📌 4. Expired Medicines and Food Items Inspected and Incinerated by Brotherhood Alliance Forces in Muse 105-Mile Zone

On May 26, in the Muse 105-Mile Trade Zone of Namkham District, the three Brotherhood Alliance forces conducted an inspection of expired food and medical supplies, according to a statement released by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).
The inspection extended to clinics and general stores within the Muse 150-Mile Zone, where expired items were discovered. These items were seized and later incinerated on June 20, the statement reported.
The purpose of the inspection was to prevent the public from unknowingly purchasing expired medicines and food products. Vendors were also warned not to sell such items again, and were urged to prioritize the health and safety of the population by offering only health-compliant goods. This was stated to be a final warning.
Shops and pharmacies found to be selling expired goods were further warned that if they continue to restock and sell such items in the future, they would be required to compensate customers at the full value of those items and face appropriate consequences.
Similarly, the Municipal Administrative Committee carried out a follow-up inspection on June 17, targeting expired medicines and foodstuffs, according to the statement.

📌📌 5. TNLA Distributes 127 Bags of Rice to Households in Need in Mong Wee Township

In April, a total of 127 bags of rice were distributed by the General Administration Office of PSLF/TNLA in Mong Wee Township, to support households facing livelihood hardships across 10 villages, according to a statement by the TNLA.
The rice was distributed as follows:
- Panyote (Lower) Village – 2 bags
- Panyote (Upper) Village – 10 bags
- Zekeng Village – 12 bags
- Manpu Village – 13 bags
- Manpan Village – 12 bags
- Panhan Gyi Village – 1 bag
- Nam San Village – 2 bags
- Pyin Lone Village – 38 bags
- Kaung Zon Village – 13 bags
- Tonbot Village – 19 bags
- Pyin Lone Monastery – 5 bags
These villages fall under the Tonhon Administrative Division, which is known to face significant transportation difficulties during the rainy season, making travel to urban areas particularly challenging, the report stated.

📌📌 6. Financial Support Provided to Injured Students from Ohtaintwin Village, Dipeyin Township, Following Airstrike

The Sagaing Region Civilian Support Network has announced that financial assistance has been provided to five students who sustained serious injuries in an airstrike by the military junta targeting a school in Ohtaintwin Village, Dipeyin Township. The bombing incident occurred when a junta aircraft dropped bombs on the school, and the injured students are still receiving medical treatment.
Each student received MMK 100,000 in assistance.
The donation was made by donors U Kyaw Thura and Daw Thei Thei Mar, in commemoration of their 30th wedding anniversary, through the support of the network. The funds were delivered by the Htipetshin IDP Assistance Group on behalf of the donors.

📌📌 7. PRF Launches “Zero Absence” Campaign to Honour Reliable Logistic Personnel

The People’s Revolution Front (PRF) has launched a “Zero Absence” campaign to honour its logistics personnel who have consistently and reliably fulfilled their supply duties without fail since the group’s formation, according to an official statement by PRF.
From the outset of the resistance, PRF logistics personnel have steadfastly supported People’s Defence Force (PDF) fighters on the frontlines by delivering rations and essential supplies.
“We never accepted the unjust military coup or the oppressive regime. What began as peaceful protest evolved into armed resistance, and during these intense periods of struggle, our comrades did not retreat despite numerous challenges. Similarly, our logistics personnel, even while facing daily hardships under the junta and enduring natural dangers, have never failed in their duties. This steadfast spirit and trustworthiness deserve historic recognition,” the PRF statement reads.
The “Zero Absence” campaign will recognize:
- PRF logistics personnel who served continuously from July 2024 to June 2025 as One-Year Zero Absence Members
- Those who served from July 2023 to June 2025 as Two-Year Zero Absence Members
- And those who served from December 2021 to June 2025 as Complete Zero Absence Members
These honorees will be awarded commemorative gifts, which include:
🌟 A personalized certificate of honour bearing the name of the Zero Absence logistics personnel
🌟 A souvenir book containing photos and words of recognition from PDF commanders and deputy commanders
🌟 Letters of commendation signed by the Minister and Deputy Ministers of Defence
🌟 A medal of recognition engraved with the logistics member’s unique identification number
The "Zero Absence" campaign will run from June 21 to July 31, 2025, and detailed announcements regarding the commemorative awards will be released progressively.
