On March 11 at 7:11 PM, junta aircraft conducted three airstrikes, dropping more than 15 bombs on a single IDP camp.
The attack resulted in injuries to a 40-year-old man, who sustained leg injuries, and severe destruction of shelters within the camp.
This densely populated IDP camp had previously suffered from severe flooding due to Cyclone Ragi in early September 2024.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Skin Diseases Spread in Karenni State Due to Poor Sanitation and Shortage of Medicine
According to Shwe Phi Myay News Agency, skin diseases have become widespread in IDP camps and many areas across Karenni State due to poor sanitation, while medical shortages continue to pose challenges.
Reports indicate that the IDP camps in Fruso, Demoso, Bawlakhe, Hpasawng, and along the Karenni-Thai border are facing outbreaks of skin diseases due to contaminated water sources.
Since the beginning of 2025, intensified military offensives by the junta have resulted in road blockages, restrictions on the transport of medicine, and an imbalance between available medical supplies and the number of patients, exacerbating the crisis.
Although mobile clinics are operational in Karenni State, they primarily provide emergency treatment. Other essential medicines such as paracetamol, cetirizine, and amoxicillin are available, but medicines specifically for treating skin diseases are in short supply.
According to available data, children between six months and primary school age are the most affected. The infection spreads rapidly within households, with one infected family member often passing it on to the entire family, raising serious concerns.
