๐๐ 2. "If We Unite Against the Common Enemy, the Revolution Will Succeed Faster," Says NUG Foreign Minister
March 24
Daw Zin Mar Aung, the Foreign Minister of the National Unity Government (NUG), stated that if all forces unite against the common enemy, the revolution will be expedited.
She made this remark on March 23, 2025, during the opening of a political discussion held at the Bupyeong District Office in Incheon, South Korea.
"In order to bring down the military junta, we must determine how to fight together. We need to find ways to reconcile and integrate our differences. However, if we can understand and navigate these challenges while maintaining unity against the common enemy, the revolution will undoubtedly progress faster," she stated.
The NUG and its members are actively working to accelerate the success of the revolution.

๐๐ 3. Kawthoolei Interim Education Exams Successfully Conducted Amid Junta Airstrikes
March 24
The Kawthoolei Interim Education examination was successfully conducted on March 14, 2025, amid the ongoing military junta’s aerial threats, thanks to the cooperation of responsible leaders and teachers. The Karen National Union (KNU) issued an official statement on March 24 confirming this.
In KNU-controlled areas, junta forces have intensified aerial assaults, particularly in Dooplaya District, where Kawkareik Township is located. The township is under the control of revolutionary joint forces that have been defending the strategic Asian Highway against military offensives.
In an attempt to reclaim control, junta forces have deployed large numbers of troops and heavy weaponry, conducting relentless attacks using artillery, advanced drones, and fighter jets. Due to these assaults, innocent civilians have been forced to flee for safety.
Despite the warzone challenges, the Karen Department of Education and Culture managed to conduct the exams for the Kawthoolei Interim Government’s schools, ensuring that young students could continue their education amid the ongoing conflict.

๐๐ 4. AAPP Releases Report on "Weaponizing the Law to Oppress the Public"
March 24
The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) has released a report titled "Weaponizing the Law to Oppress the Public" in March.
The report details how the military dictatorship has systematically used colonial-era oppressive laws, amended them, and enacted new legislation to justify ongoing repression, violent crackdowns, and human rights violations against the people of Myanmar.
"The military junta exploits unjust laws, intelligence units, and prisons to create a climate of fear and suppress public resistance. They use these tools to torture and intimidate revolutionaries. It is crucial to ensure that such repression never happens again within Myanmar’s borders," said Ko Bo Kyi, Joint Secretary of AAPP.
He also emphasized that the National Unity Government (NUG) and ethnic resistance organizations are committed to governing in a way that does not replicate the junta’s oppressive legal mechanisms.
AAPP hopes that this report will serve as a valuable reference for revolutionary forces, including ethnic armed organizations, as they reassess and reform the legal frameworks in their respective territories.

๐๐ 7. Military Junta’s Persistent Efforts to Divide the Revolutionary Forces Must Be Acknowledged
March 24
Deputy Minister Dr. Sai Khaing Myo Tun emphasized the importance of recognizing the military junta’s persistent attempts to sow division among revolutionary forces.
“The revolutionary forces now control nearly 60% of the country’s territory, with over 20% being contested areas where no single authority can claim full control. The remaining 20% consists of urban areas still under the junta’s rule, as reported by international studies.
From a position of having nothing to now reaching this stage, significant progress has been achieved. This success is largely due to the unity and collective strength of the revolutionary forces. However, it is crucial to remain aware that the junta is making relentless efforts to create divisions within this unity,” he stated.
The military dictatorship has historically employed various strategies to create discord among ethnic groups and divide the people, he added.
