๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Yangon Urban Forces Bomb Attack on Dagon Seikkan Township Ward 141 Office

Yangon Army-YA reported that the administrative office of Ward 141 in Dagon Seikkan Township, Yangon, was attacked with three hand grenades at around 10:00 PM on March 8.
According to YA, the attack was carried out jointly by their forces and the Western District Pa Ka Pha in response to the ward administrator's collaboration with thugs to oppress and abuse the local population.
Residents of Dagon Seikkan Township also confirmed hearing explosions that night.
YA stated that due to the heavy presence of junta troops across Yangon, their forces had to engage in a challenging battle against the ward administrator and his gang, who had been operating in groups. They also confirmed that casualties were inevitable.
YA further warned that as long as the military dictatorship remains, they will continue targeting and eliminating key enemy positions.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Junta-Appointed Hundred-Household Chief Killed in Minhla Township for Extorting Forced Military Service Fees from the Poor

The People's Defense Force (PDF) of Minhla Township reported that they executed a junta-appointed hundred-household chief who had been illegally collecting forced military service fees from impoverished locals.
The individual, identified as Thet Naing Soe, also known as "A Nge Lay," resided in Nat Htamin Village, under Tan Pin Kone village tract in Minhla Township, Tharyarwaddy District, Bago Region. He was targeted and eliminated in a coordinated attack by Battalion 3802, Units 2 and 3 of Tharyarwaddy District, alongside Minhla PDF, at around 11:45 AM on March 8.
According to revolutionary forces, they entered his residence and shot him three times, resulting in his death.
Thet Naing Soe had been forcefully extorting money from struggling locals under the pretext of military service fees. Those who refused to pay were handed over to the junta troops for arrest. He was also accused of providing false information to the military council, leading to the arrest of civilians, and challenging revolutionary forces with impunity.
Tharyarwaddy District Battalion 3802, Unit 2, stated that this action was necessary due to his repeated oppression of the local population.
The local resistance forces have urged residents to avoid areas with junta presence, as they will intensify operations against military council forces and their informants.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Over 10 Junta Soldiers Killed as KNLA and PDF Capture Thapyay Nyunt Military Camp in Than Taung Gyi Township

Resistance forces reported that over 10 junta soldiers were killed, and several weapons and ammunition were seized when the Thapyay Nyunt military camp in Than Taung Gyi Township, Karen State, was captured by joint forces of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and People's Defense Forces (PDF).
The offensive against the junta-controlled Thapyay Nyunt camp, located in the KNLA Brigade 2 territory under the Karen National Union (KNU), began at around 1:00 PM on March 7. The camp was successfully seized on March 8.
During the battle, more than 10 junta soldiers were killed, while over 20 fled the camp. The retreating junta troops abandoned the camp, prompting the resistance forces to burn it down.
Although the exact number and types of seized weapons and ammunition have not yet been disclosed, sources confirmed that significant military supplies were captured.
At around 7:30 AM on March 8, the complete capture of Thapyay Nyunt camp was confirmed by Region 2 Operation Commander, Comrade Tin Oo, of the People's Defense Forces.
Currently, KNLA and PDF joint forces are actively pursuing the fleeing junta troops.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Township Police Officer Attacked After Collecting Extortion Fees in Paungde Township

A police officer from the Hmat Tine Township Police Station in Paungde Township, Bago Region, was ambushed after returning from extorting money from local villages, according to Battalion-3601 of the Pyay District People's Defense Forces (PDF).
At around 3:00 PM on March 8, Corporal Thein Lwin, a territorial police officer from Hmat Tine Township Police Station, was attacked by a unit of Battalion-3601, Company-5, while returning from collecting extortion fees in the villages.
The ambush took place between The Mae Village and Kone Thar Village. Thein Lwin, upon spotting the resistance fighters, stopped his motorcycle and jumped off a bridge to escape. Although he was fired upon, he managed to flee, the statement said.
Despite his escape, the resistance forces seized one motorcycle, three hand grenades, six rounds of assorted ammunition, a pair of handcuffs, MMK 130,000 (approx. $62), and several documents, according to Battalion-3601's statement.
Corporal Thein Lwin was notorious for forcibly recruiting villagers into the military, extorting money from wealthier residents by detaining them and demanding ransoms for their release. He also personally led arbitrary arrests, tortured detainees, and was responsible for deaths and imprisonments, as highlighted in the statement.
Battalion-3601 has urged soldiers, police officers, and Pyu Saw Htee militia members operating in Pyay District to immediately cease their acts of oppression, defect to the people's side, and join the People's Defense Forces (PDF).

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Ta'ang Police Force Arrests 85 Drug Users and 7 Dealers in February

The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) under the Palaung State Liberation Front (PSLF) announced that 85 drug users and 7 drug dealers were arrested in February.
The arrests took place across Namkham, Mong Kung, Kutkai, Kyaukme, Namhsan, and Mantong Townships, according to the PSLF/TNLA Information and Public Relations Department.
In Namkham Township, 27 drug users and 5 drug dealers were apprehended.
In Mong Kung Township, 2 drug users were arrested.
In Kutkai Township, 7 drug users were arrested.
In Kyaukme Township, 17 drug users and 1 dealer were taken into custody.
In Namhsan Township, 23 drug users were arrested.
In Mantong Township, 9 drug users and 1 dealer were detained.
According to records, those arrested were sent to a six-month rehabilitation program for moral and behavioral reform. However, individuals involved in serious drug-related crimes were placed in detention.
In 2024 alone, the PSLF/TNLA's Ta’ang Police Force has arrested a total of 1,923 individuals involved in drug trafficking and usage, according to the PSLF/TNLA Information and Public Relations Department.
