The CRPH expressed its heartfelt congratulations and warm regards to all Kayaw ethnic people on this significant occasion of the 57th Kayaw National Day, which is held in honor of the Kayaw people’s identity and legacy. The message extended best wishes for a safe and joyous celebration for all Kayaw brothers and sisters.
It recognized and honored the unwavering spirit and resolute determination of the Kayaw people, who continue to actively resist the military dictatorship. Their ongoing struggle serves as an admirable and inspirational example. The CRPH paid tribute to the past and present Kayaw ethnic leaders and revolutionary heroes who, throughout successive eras, have sacrificed their lives, blood, and sweat in the fight against military dictatorship along the path toward democracy.
The CRPH reaffirmed its commitment to building a Federal Democratic Union that embraces and transforms the diversity of all ethnic groups into strength, and that guarantees full freedom, justice, and equality. ๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Total of 68 Airstrikes by SAC Across 12 States and Regions Result in 63 Civilian Deaths and 83 Injuries

According to U Nay Phone Latt, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office of the National Unity Government (NUG), a total of 68 aerial bombardments carried out by the terrorist SAC (State Administration Council) across 12 different states and regions resulted in 63 civilian deaths and 83 injuries.
He shared this information during a press briefing organized by the NUG to communicate with the public and the international community.
“The terrorist military announced a unilateral ceasefire on April 2, but since then, it has continued launching relentless aerial attacks using jet fighters, paramotors, and drones, along with ongoing heavy artillery bombardments on a daily basis,” said U Nay Phone Latt.
Based on the data collected, between April 3 and April 13, a total of 68 aerial attacks occurred across 12 states and regions, leading to 63 civilian deaths and 83 injuries.
Among those killed in the airstrikes were women, children, and members of the Sangha (Buddhist clergy).

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Resistance Forces Capture SAC’s 18-Mile Hill Outpost Along Salin–Setottara Road

Resistance forces successfully captured the 18-Mile Hill outpost of the terrorist SAC along the Salin–Setottara road, according to reports.
The operation was carried out by a combined force of battalions operating in Mying Township under the No. (6) Military Region of Pakokku District. The assault took place on April 1.
During the operation, four SAC soldiers were captured alive, and a cache of weapons was seized, including five small arms (two MA-1 rifles, two MA-3 rifles, and one M79 grenade launcher) along with some ammunition.
The operation was led by a commander from Battalion No. (2) under the Pakokku Military Region, with joint participation from Battalions Nos. (6), (7), (14), (15), and (17), as well as Mying Township PDF and Battalion No. (1) of Minbu District.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Four SAC Troops Severely Wounded During Clash with Resistance Forces in Yaysakyo Township

In Yaysakyo Township, a 150-strong SAC column from LIB-258 (Light Infantry Battalion) came under attack by resistance forces, resulting in four SAC soldiers sustaining serious injuries.
The attack was carried out on April 13 by a joint force consisting of the People’s Defense Force – Yaysakyo Township (PDF-Yaysakyo) and Battalion No. (9) of the Pakokku District.
According to PDF-Yaysakyo, although the resistance fighters attempted to seize weapons from the SAC troops during the clash, they were eventually forced to retreat due to the overwhelming number of enemy forces.
