๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing expresses empathy for the hardships faced by fundraising agents for the revolution

Union Minister for Planning, Finance, and Investment, U Tin Tun Naing, stated that he empathizes with the hardships and difficulties faced by agents responsible for fundraising for the revolution.

"In this revolution, there are numerous matters that require careful consideration and understanding. As someone who has to deal with everyone, I naturally feel a strong sense of empathy for them," said the Union Minister.

An agent, writing about the difficulties faced by fundraising agents, explained that due to the stringent rules of each fundraising project and the hurdles created by banks, agents frequently have to advance funds from their own pockets.

Among the historical milestones in fundraising success for the Spring Revolution are the sales of War Bonds, sales of EOD shares, and sales of shares in the Spring Development Bank.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 2. Myanmar Community in France transfers €1,893 to Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye for Myanmar earthquake relief

The Myanmar Community in France confirmed that they have transferred €1,893 from the proceeds of their New Year fundraising event to Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye for Myanmar’s earthquake relief efforts and to support the Spring Movement.

Of this total, €1,893 was specifically allocated for Myanmar’s earthquake disaster, and handed over to Dr. Win Myat Aye, Union Minister for the NUG Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management. Additionally, €4,900 will be donated to support the Spring Movement forces.

The Myanmar Community in France expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all donors, participating Burmese nationals, ethnic communities, French citizens, and the La Courneuve City Mayor’s Office for their contributions and support.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 3. Union Minister Daw Khine Ma Ma Myo attends the “No Fun Revolution Thingyan” event in the UK

Union Minister for the Ministry of Commerce, Daw Khine Ma Ma Myo, attended the "No Fun Revolution Thingyan" event held in the United Kingdom.

The event took place on April 27 at Forge Valley School, Wood Lane, Sheffield.
"This shows the solidarity and unity of Burmese people abroad, building strength for the revolution. It demonstrates our collective unity," the Union Minister said.

"If it were inside Myanmar, people are fighting against the military dictatorship in various forms. Among these various methods of resistance, the contributions and roles of Burmese people abroad have been significant and longstanding over the years," she added.

"No Fun" fundraising Thingyan events were organized by revolutionary forces in various countries to support the revolution.

It has been announced that the Ministry of Education under the National Unity Government will be opening the third round of university admissions from May 1 to May 31.

Students are informed that they can apply for the third round of university admissions by carefully reading and following the Third Round University Admission Guide as well as the University Admission Application Guidelines through the Myanmar Education System (MES).

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 5. SAC's Airstrikes Condemned as Acts of Barbarism Lacking Religion and Education

During the month of April, U Lin Thant, the National Unity Government’s (NUG) representative to the Czech Republic, condemned the airstrikes carried out by the military junta (SAC), stating that these attacks are the actions of uncivilized, uneducated barbarians lacking in both religion and education.

He remarked,
"The terrorists are deliberately targeting and bombing religious and educational facilities. Such acts are manifestations of barbarism devoid of religion and education."

According to information collected by the Association for the Assistance of Political Prisoners (AAPP), from April 1 to April 25, 2025, a total of 28 civilians—17 women and 11 men—were killed by the military junta's brutal actions in the Sagaing Region. Among the victims, 5 were children under the age of 18. Of these casualties, 26 were killed as a result of the junta’s airstrikes.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 6. Friendship Fundraising Football Match between So Cal Myanmar FC and Bay Area Mi Pamilia FC in California Raised Over USD 40,000

April 28

On April 19, a friendship fundraising football match between So Cal Myanmar FC from Southern California and Bay Area Mi Pamilia FC from Northern California was successfully held at Duarte High School Stadium.

It was reported that around 500 spectators attended the match to show their support, and the event managed to raise a total of $41,000.

The primary purpose of organizing this match was to raise funds to support the urgent needs of civilians affected by conflict throughout Myanmar.

In light of the new needs arising from the earthquake in Sagaing, $7,000 from the total funds raised were allocated and transferred to the NUG-Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management for relief and reconstruction efforts.

The remaining $34,000 will be distributed domestically to areas in need through the Citizen of Burma Award (COBA) organization.
