๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Over Ten Consecutive Days of Attacks on Junta Column Advancing into Eastern Forest Region of Dawei

In Tanintharyi Region, Dawei District, a junta column that advanced into the Eastern Forest region of Dawei Township has been under continuous ambush for more than ten days, according to a statement released by the Launglone Peninsula Force (LPF).
The junta force, consisting of over 200 troops, began its offensive on April 28. The first armed engagement reportedly occurred between 4:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on May 2 near the area between Tharyet Ngote and Yarma Zu villages.
Subsequent clashes were reported on May 9 near the tower post by Bawapin Village. Heavy fighting took place around noon, then again at 4:45 p.m. and 5:35 p.m.
On May 10, a fourth fierce clash took place between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. near the same tower post by Bawapin Village.
Throughout the more than ten days of ongoing ambushes, at least six junta soldiers were killed and over 40 were seriously wounded. On the side of the allied revolutionary forces, two resistance fighters were confirmed killed, four sustained injuries, and one was reported in critical condition.
The joint operations were carried out by Daung Net Elimination Force (Unit 7), Launglone Peninsula Force (LPF), Dawei District Battalion 2 (T5), DGRF, DLNA, DEF, Eden Moe, EDF, Kyarr Thit Nat, Balloon Pyaut Kyarr group, and Battalion 12 under Brigade 4 of the Karen National Union (KNU).

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Junta Deploys Cluster Bombs in Aerial Bombardments

The junta has been using cluster bombs in its aerial bombardments, according to a statement released by Battalion 2 in Kawlin District.
During aerial bombings in western Kawlin, targeting the Ukkana and Chaungnar areas, bomb casings were discovered in the vicinity of the villages, indicating the use of cluster munitions.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Junta Launches Successive Airstrikes on Villages in Ngapudaw Township

According to local sources, the military junta carried out consecutive aerial bombardments on multiple villages in Ngapudaw Township, Ayeyarwady Region.
On the morning of May 15, a bomb was dropped on the school of Chinkitekwin Village, followed by another bomb that struck a betel plantation shop near the “31 Thitsa” lumber site. The shop was reportedly destroyed by fire resulting from the bombing.
Later that night, around 9:30 p.m., junta aircraft launched additional airstrikes on Bepyaekone, Sarsikonekwin, and Chinkitekwin villages using rotary-wing aircraft from No. 5 Combat Helicopter Battalion.
On the following night, May 16 at around 8:30 p.m., two fighter jets launched another series of aerial attacks targeting Watawkwin, Kyetpaungkone, and Thanbopyarkone villages.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Two Newly-Deployed Junta Soldiers Defect with Weapons to Daung Battalion Defense Subdivision (7)

According to a statement released by the Daung Battalion Defense Subdivision (7) of the Launglone Peninsula Force (LPF), two newly-deployed junta soldiers who had recently completed military training defected to the resistance along with their weapons.
The defectors were identified as Private Yan Shin from Infantry Battalion (273) based in Kan Pauk, Yebyu Township, and Private Thura Win from Light Infantry Battalion (101) based in Myeik Town.
They surrendered with one MA-1 assault rifle, two magazines, and 200 rounds of ammunition to the LPF.
LPF stated that the two soldiers who defected with their weapons were awarded monetary rewards in recognition of their defection.
