๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Six Junta Soldiers Killed and 16 Weapons Seized in Attacks Near Baw Nat Gyi

Revolutionary forces launched attacks against junta military checkpoints and columns near Baw Nat Gyi Village, in Bago Township, Bago Region, resulting in the deaths of six junta soldiers and the seizure of sixteen firearms, according to Bago District Battalion 3701, Shwe Chaung Sub-Battalion.
At 2:00 a.m. on May 18, the joint forces raided a junta checkpoint stationed with 15 soldiers near Zee Taw Village, located along Mile 50 of the Baw Nat Gyi–Zaung Tu–Taikkyi road. Reports state that junta troops abandoned their posts and fled in disarray.
From this checkpoint, the revolutionary forces seized:
2 G4 rifles
2 G3 rifles
1 G2 rifle
9 M1 carbines
780 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition
20 7.62mm magazines
951 rounds of carbine ammunition
18 carbine magazines
139 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition
Multiple other magazines
Likewise, at 2:15 a.m. on May 22, a revolutionary force stormed a junta military base located at Milepost 32/7 on the Yangon–Mandalay Expressway, killing two junta soldiers and injuring one.
Again, on May 24 at 8:40 a.m., a junta military column advancing along Mile 50 of the Baw Nat Gyi–Zaung Tu–Taikkyi road was ambushed. Four junta troops, including a Pyusawhti deputy officer, were killed, and two M1 carbines were seized.
All of these attacks were conducted by Bago District Battalion 3701, Sub-Battalion 3 (Shwe Chaung Sub-Battalion). No casualties were reported among the revolutionary fighters, who safely withdrew after each operation.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Revolutionary Forces Raid Entrenched Junta Base in Than Pin Kone Village, Oakpho Township

Revolutionary forces from the Oakpho Underground Guerrilla Force reported attacking a heavily fortified junta military base located at Bo Hlyone Su, Than Pin Kone Village, along the Bago-Yoma range in Oakpho Township, Thayarwady District, Bago Region.
At around 6:00 a.m. on March 26, a contingent of over 30 junta troops stationed at the Bo Hlyone Su base was attacked by a joint force comprising Thayarwady District Battalion 3802, Sub-Battalion 4, and the Oakpho Underground Guerrilla Force.
A fierce firefight ensued involving both light and heavy weapons and lasted approximately three and a half hours. By around 9:30 a.m., junta artillery units from Kha Ma Ya (6) Tactical Battalion began providing fire support, prompting revolutionary troops to momentarily pull back for safety.
Later that day, around 5:00 p.m., the revolutionary forces launched a second wave of attacks, resulting in the deaths of eight junta soldiers. Due to injuries and mounting losses, the junta troops carried away the bodies and abandoned the base.
During a clearance operation at the site, revolutionary forces seized:
12 rounds of 60mm mortar shells
5 hand grenades
300 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition
5 ENERGA rifle grenades
1 machete
2 bags of rice
1 container of cooking oil
2 pairs of shoes
3 camouflage belts
3 helmets
2 pairs of trousers
The base was subsequently torched and cleared.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. 10 Junta Soldiers Killed, 7 Captured Alive in Ambush at Taung Su Village, Kyaukkyi

On May 19, revolutionary forces ambushed junta troops who had launched a military incursion into Taung Su Village, near Kyaukkyi Town. The Falcons Guerrilla Force confirmed the operation in a public statement.
During the clash, 10 junta soldiers were killed, while 7 others were captured alive. The revolutionary forces also seized a cache of weapons and ammunition.
The attack was jointly conducted by the Falcons Guerrilla Force, KLNA Battalion 8, KLNA Battalion 9, and PDF units. All revolutionary personnel reportedly withdrew safely without sustaining any casualties.
Following the battle, junta forces retreated, and revolutionary forces have since maintained full control over Taung Su Village.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Sub-Commander from Military Battalion 28 Killed in Bhamo City Offensive

During the ongoing joint offensive to seize Bhamo City—a campaign jointly conducted by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and allied revolutionary forces—a sub-commander from Military Battalion 28 (Dharma Sine Column) based in Yinmarbin District was confirmed killed.
The fallen officer, identified as Ye Baw Nine Nine, died on May 22 after being hit by a drone-dropped bomb, following a series of intense airstrikes launched by junta forces in response to the downing of a junta helicopter by revolutionary troops on May 20.
Ye Baw Nine Nine, aged 21, had been a front-line combatant in several operations against junta columns in Yinmarbin District and was active for over six months in the “Operation Kat Lone Lone” aimed at capturing Pinlebu City.
Locals and comrades from Battalion 28 are now mourning the loss of the young officer, who had shown outstanding dedication and bravery.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. SAC-Appointed Administrator in Myay Si Village Tract, Letpadan Township, Shot Dead

In Myay Si Village Tract, Letpadan Township, Thayarwady District, Bago Region, the administrator appointed by the military council, Chit Lin, was shot and eliminated, according to a statement released by the Shwe Tan Myay People’s Defense Force.
The operation reportedly took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. on May 27, when members of the Shwe Tan Myay People’s Defense Force entered the residence of administrator Chit Lin and shot him.
Prior to his appointment as administrator, Chit Lin had long served as a close operative of the military council. It is reported that he had held the position of administrator for around eight months.
He was actively involved in the arrest of youths under the pretense of military service enforcement and had personally participated in such arrests, which led to his targeted elimination, the statement added.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 6. SAC Troops Fire Heavy Weapons Indiscriminately in Naungcho Township Despite No Active Fighting

In Naungcho Township, located in the northern part of Shan State under the control of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), SAC forces fired heavy artillery into Naung Taw Village despite the absence of any armed conflict, according to a report by the Danu People's Liberation Front / Danu People's Liberation Army (DPLF/DPLA).
At approximately 9:05 a.m. on May 27, three rounds of heavy artillery were fired into Naung Taw Village. One civilian residence was damaged as a result, though no casualties were reported.
Civilians have been urged to avoid areas where unexploded ordnance may be present, not to handle or tamper with unfamiliar objects, and to ensure that children do not play in areas where heavy munitions have landed.
The statement also noted that despite the official ceasefire period, the SAC has continued to target civilian populations within TNLA-controlled territories using aircraft, chemical gas bombs, and heavy weapons, as well as launching ground assaults.

On May 25, 2025, the Third Battalion of the People’s Defense Force (PDF), operating in Sagaing District, held a commemorative event marking the battalion’s 4th anniversary, alongside a graduation ceremony for its basic military training course and a weapons commissioning ceremony.
The ceremony featured a tribute to the People’s Defense Force flag, an oath-taking ritual, a water-of-loyalty ceremony, speeches by battalion leadership, and the presentation of honorary financial assistance to the families of fallen comrades.
