On June 22, a clash broke out between the People's Defense Forces (Pa-Ka-Fa) from the Alalakapa–Taw Chaung U road checkpoint and junta-affiliated forces based at multiple positions in Myaing Township.
As junta troops were retreating toward Alalakapa in six vehicles, they were ambushed with eight anti-vehicle mines. One military vehicle was destroyed, resulting in the deaths of three junta soldiers and injuries to many others, according to field sources.
The operation was led by the local township Pa-Ka-Fa forces, with the participation of fighters from the checkpoint, Black Eagle Defence Force (MMU), and local resistance units.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Two Pyu Saw Htee Members Defect to the People’s Side with Weapons in Khin-U Township

On June 22, two Pyu Saw Htee members from within Khin-U Township defected to the people’s side, surrendering themselves to the local Pa-Ka-Fa forces.
They brought along the following items:
- One M2 Carbine
- Two magazines
- 131 Carbine rounds
- Five G3 rounds
- Two mobile phones (RedMi 10A and RedMi 5X)
- One power bank
- One FUJITSU laptop
The Pa-Ka-Fa confirmed that these individuals voluntarily turned themselves in along with the listed items.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. PSLF/TNLA Rehabilitates and Releases 29 Drug Users in Namhsan

In Namhsan Township, Ta’ang Region, under Brigade 9 territory, the Palaung State Liberation Front / Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) announced that 29 drug users had completed a rehabilitation program and were released on June 21.
According to the report, these individuals underwent a six-month moral and behavioral rehabilitation program at a PSLF/TNLA reform camp. Some were previously arrested by the local Ta’ang Region police for drug use, while others were voluntarily handed over by their own guardians or family members for rehabilitation.
PSLF/TNLA stated that:
- First-time offenders undergo six months of behavioral correction at the rehabilitation camp.
- Repeat offenders will face a three-year sentence as punishment.
Previously, on April 9, PSLF/TNLA also released 43 drug users in Namhsan District after completing a similar rehabilitation process.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Financial Assistance Provided to CDM Police Personnel Who Were Injured or Killed in an Airstrike in Butalin Township

In Butalin Township, Monywa District, Sagaing Region, financial assistance was provided to CDM (Civil Disobedience Movement) police personnel who were either injured or killed in an airstrike targeting a position of Battalion 20, as reported by the Township People’s Administration Team and the Department of Humanitarian Affairs.
On June 23, financial support totaling MMK 700,000 was delivered, distributed as follows:
- MMK 200,000 each to two CDM police personnel who were injured, and
- MMK 300,000 to one CDM police officer who was killed in the attack.
According to the report, the funds were sourced from the Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management, the township revenue, and people’s donations.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. DPLF/DPLA Holds Graduation Ceremony for Its Sixth Weekly Military Training Program

The Danau People’s Liberation Front / Danau People’s Liberation Army (DPLF/DPLA) held a graduation ceremony for its sixth weekly military training batch at a liberated area on June 21.
According to the official statement, the training program—which spanned over three months—focused on:
- Equipping local residents of the Danau region with the capability to defend themselves,
- Instilling a constant sense of alertness against enemy forces, and
- Developing combat proficiency.
At the graduation ceremony, DPLF/DPLA Chairman U Htun Htun Naing delivered a speech urging the trainees to:
- Remain loyal to the people of the Danau region,
- Obey commands, and
- Maintain strong morale under any circumstance as they fight to uproot the military dictatorship.
