The United League of Arakan/Arakan Army (ULA/AA) announced that eight suspects have been apprehended in connection with the rape and murder of Ma Ei Ei San from Phar Pyaw Village, Minbya Township.
According to ULA/AA spokesperson U Khaing Thukha, the incident is classified under case number (P) 60/2025 at Minbya Town Base, and prosecuted under Sections 302 and 376 of the Penal Code. The suspects were arrested by the Department of Law Enforcement and Public Security (DLEPS), which operates under ULA/AA, for their alleged involvement in the crime.
The ULA/AA further stated that legal proceedings are actively underway in accordance with established judicial procedures to ensure the suspects are prosecuted and punished under the law.
They expressed deep gratitude and recognition to the relevant individuals, organizations, and local residents who provided support and cooperation in facilitating the arrests by the DLEPS.

The Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) Battalion 14 confirmed that, on June 3 at around 5:00 a.m., they and allied forces launched an attack on a heavily fortified military camp of the junta located within the premises of Thapyay Kone Village Monastery.
During the assault, the allied forces also preemptively struck a junta reinforcement column, successfully halting their movement.
Reports indicate that the revolutionary forces seized a cache of weapons and ammunition, including five MA-1 rifles, one AK-47, one MA-4, one RPG, and additional arms and munitions.
At least 20 junta soldiers were killed in the battle. On the side of the resistance forces, two fighters sustained non-critical injuries.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Ambush on Junta Reinforcement Column During Police Outpost Seizure Operation in Wetlu Region

According to Nwar Htoo Gyi PDF, a junta reinforcement column dispatched to support a police outpost under attack in Wetlu Region, Myingyan District, Mandalay Region, was ambushed, resulting in the deaths of at least four junta troops.
The ambush took place around 11:00 a.m. on June 3. In the aftermath of the encounter, the resistance forces recovered one body and seized a quantity of ammunition.
In addition, eight young men who had been forcibly conscripted by the junta to serve as porters were successfully rescued from the retreating column. Two junta personnelโone sniper and one soldierโwere also captured.
This operation, named "9/A Nyar Myae Operation", was jointly executed by Myingyan District Battalion 4, Battalion 10, and allied resistance forces.

On June 5, Shwe Phi Myay News Agency reported that SAC troops have continued their assault on a Taโang National Liberation Army (TNLA) base near Kan Gyi Village, located in the vicinity of Naung Cho Township.
Junta forces launched artillery attacks from Shwe Muthtaw Village targeting Naung Cho, and on June 4, in the afternoon, shells fired by the military struck civilian areas in the town. As a result, four residentsโtwo women and two menโwere injured.
The injured civilians have been identified as U Myint Aung, Daw Htway, U Kyaw Win, and Daw Mu Mu Aung. Reports indicate that houses were also damaged by the shelling.
Due to the proximity of the clashes to Naung Cho town, civilians from Kan Gyi, Shwe Muthtaw, Shauk Khyone, and Naung Lait villages, as well as residents of Naung Cho itself, have fled their homes in search of safety.

According to an announcement by the Karen National Union (KNU), a civilian was detained and summarily executed by junta troops in Pannetaw Village, located in the KNU-administered area of Du Thatu (Thaton) Township, Mon State.
On May 29, 52-year-old Tee Saw Lah Htoo of Pannetaw Village was foraging in the forest for edible plants when he encountered junta soldiers. He was detained, forcibly taken away, and reportedly beaten to death along the roadside.
The junta troops responsible for the killing are said to have temporarily stationed at SAC Battalion 8 in Pannetaw on the night of May 28. On May 29, they departed for Wintarpan Village to establish a new outpost, with over 100 troops in the unit.

Three soldiers from the 584th Light Infantry Battalion who were part of a junta military column advancing on Naung Kone Village in Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region, have defected with their weapons, according to a statement released by the Spring Warriors Column.
The defection reportedly took place on May 16, when three unnamed junta soldiers, citing security concerns, fled with one MA-1 assault rifle and two MA-3 rifles.
All three defectors were reportedly youths who had been forcibly conscripted into the junta military, having been abducted and compelled to serve.
The statement added that the three defectors are being safely sheltered, and they have been awarded monetary rewards in recognition of their actions.

In Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, three junta soldiers defected along with their weapons to the township-level Peopleโs Security Force (Pa La Pha), according to an announcement made on June 5.
The defectors have been identified as Nay Myo Oo (Yangon), Chit Moe Thu (Pathein), and Nyi Nyi (Northern Shan State). They brought with them one MA-1 rifle, one MA-13 rifle, and one G3 rifle.
The Monywa Pa La Pha confirmed that the defectors were accepted following standard verification procedures and were each awarded a recognition payment of MMK 5 million.
Authorities stated that soldiers who no longer wish to serve under the SAC and choose to defect and join the peopleโs resistance will continue to be welcomed, guaranteed full human rights, and awarded monetary incentives for surrendering with their weapons.
