๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. Over 3,200 Killed in More Than 3,000 Airstrikes by Junta Forces in Myanmar from 2023 to June 2025

July 22

From 2023 to June 2025, more than 3,200 people were reportedly killed in over 3,000 airstrikes carried out by the junta across Myanmar.

This information was released in July by the Ministry of Education under the National Unity Government (NUG), based on their compiled records of aerial bombardments.

“The terrorist junta’s airstrikes have caused countless civilian casualties and claimed the lives of many revolutionary fighters. Based on the compiled data, we have observed a marked increase in the frequency of airstrikes by the military,” the statement said.

“The casualty figures for the first half of 2025 have already surpassed the total death toll for the entire year of 2024, indicating a sharp escalation in lethal attacks,” the ministry added.

The statement also highlighted that educational institutions, which are not legitimate military targets under the laws of war, have been deliberately bombed and shelled by the junta. These attacks have led to deaths and injuries among teachers, students, and children, further underscoring the junta’s deliberate and brutal tactics.
