๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. KNU sends congratulatory message on the 2nd Anniversary of the founding of the Burma National Revolutionary Army (BNRA)

September 9, Radio NUG

On the occasion of the 2nd Anniversary of the founding of the Burma National Revolutionary Army (BNRA), the Karen National Union (KNU) sent a congratulatory message, honoring it as a distinguished revolutionary organization.

The message stated that the BNRA is one of the revolutionary forces that emerged after experiencing firsthand the violent and ruthless oppression of the people by the brutal military under the dictatorship. Among the newly formed resistance organizations against the unjust violence of the military, the BNRA has stood out as a unique and remarkable revolutionary force.

The BNRA, like many other newly formed revolutionary groups, has dedicated the lives, blood, sweat, and sacrifices of its members for the goal of systemic change and has been actively participating in the people’s revolution, now reaching its second year.

The KNU also pledged that it would continue to fight together with the BNRA until all forms of dictatorship, including the current military dictatorship, are eradicated, and until a genuine federal democratic union is established—one that guarantees national equality, self-determination, and is founded upon freedom, justice, equality, and peace.
