๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Special Operations Squad (SOS) – Batch (3) Graduation and Weapon Handover Ceremony Held

The Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration of the National Unity Government (NUG) organized the graduation ceremony and weapon handover event for Batch (3) of the Special Operations Squad (SOS) on September 26 in an NUG-administered area of the Sagaing Region, according to the official statement.
The event was attended online by Union Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration U Lwin Ko Latt, Deputy Union Minister U Kyaw Ni, and Deputy Minister Daw Ju Lai, while the Permanent Secretary and departmental officers attended in person at the field site.
During the ceremony, the Union Minister delivered a speech, followed by an award presentation to outstanding trainees. Permanent Secretary U Khon Min formally handed over weapons to the unit commander, and village administrative organizations offered honorary cash contributions to the graduating unit.
Afterward, a military demonstration was conducted, featuring a display of Myanmar traditional martial arts performed by the trainees — which was observed by the Permanent Secretary.
The SOS Batch (3) training program was conducted over 75 days in NUG-controlled areas of Sagaing Region. The course was designed to equip members with diverse tactics to effectively combat and dismantle the terrorist junta forces, with participants selected from both Sagaing and Magway Regions.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Bago Regional Command Leadership Meets with District-level People’s Defense Forces (Pa Ka Pha)

The Commander of the Bago Regional Command and the Operation Chief of the regional military command met with People’s Defense Forces (Pa Ka Pha) leaders from Bago District in a revolutionary area under Battalion (1), according to Pa Ka Pha Voice.
The meeting was attended by Bago Regional Commander Ye Baw San Lin, Operation Chief Ye Baw BB, Strategy Chief of Special Command No. (36) Ye Baw Yan Naing, Intelligence Officer Ye Baw Saw Bee Luu, and Bago District Pa Ka Pha Leader Ye Baw Phyo Maung. The discussions covered strategic and operational matters related to their respective sectors.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Fifteen Military Boats from Monywa Attacked with Small Arms

On the morning of October 11, around 8:30 a.m., fifteen junta military boats sailing downstream from Monywa along the Chindwin River were attacked by the Chindwin Fighter Group (CFG) in collaboration with the Brave Heart Army (B.H.A) using small arms, according to a statement from CFG.
The junta side responded with both heavy and light weapons and also deployed a paramotor aircraft equipped with a machine gun for aerial support. Despite these counterattacks, revolutionary fighters managed to retreat safely without casualties.
The statement added that junta forces likely suffered casualties, though details are still being investigated.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Chaung-U Police Station Attacked with Heavy Weapons and Drones

On the morning of October 10, around 7:10 a.m., Chaung-U Police Station came under attack with two 60-mm mortar shells, causing a vehicle warehouse inside the compound to be hit and destroyed, according to a statement from the Chaung-U Township Pa Ka Pha.
Around 9:00 a.m., another attack was launched using drones to drop explosives on the target.
As a result of these attacks, five junta soldiers were killed and one was injured. One of the bodies was later transported to the military hospital in Monywa.
The operation was jointly carried out by the Chaung-U Township Pa Ka Pha (CHU PDF) and BLDF (LPDF) groups.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Linzin Outpost in Salin Township Attacked – One PDF Fighter Killed by Junta Airstrike

According to Battalion (5) under Minbu District, an attack was launched against the junta police outpost at Linzin in Salin Township, Minbu District, Magway Region.
The offensive began at around 5:00 a.m. on October 8 with a drone strike. The revolutionary forces successfully seized control of the police station and the nearby Bote Kone hill, leaving only one remaining bunker under junta control.
However, at 9:34 a.m., the junta’s air force conducted three rounds of aerial bombardment using fighter jets and machine gun fire, followed by two more airstrikes at 11:40 a.m., forcing the resistance forces to retreat.
During the junta’s air attack, PDF fighter Ye Baw Thine Chit Aung (aka Phoe Sine) from Sub-unit (2) of Battalion (5), Minbu District, was killed, and three other members were injured (non-critical).
The operation was jointly executed by Sub-unit (2) of Battalion (5), Minbu District Drone Unit, Salin Pa Ka Pha, Daung Nyi Naung Urban Guerrilla Group, and Minbu District Pa Ka Pha’s Production Team.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 6. Two Civilians Killed and Two Children Injured by Junta Artillery Fire in Nga Lone Tin Village, Chaung-U Township

According to local reports, two civilians were killed and two children sustained serious injuries after the terrorist junta forces indiscriminately shelled Nga Lone Tin Village in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region, with heavy artillery.
On the night of October 10, around 10:00 p.m., junta troops based in Chaung-U Town fired heavy artillery shells without any ongoing battle. The shells landed and exploded in Nga Lone Tin San Myay Village and the nearby Shan Htoo Village.
While there were no casualties reported in Shan Htoo Village, one displaced woman in Nga Lone Tin San Myay Village was killed instantly, and another 60-year-old woman died the following morning (October 11) while receiving medical treatment.
Two children were also seriously injured but are reportedly in stable condition.
Although the artillery strikes did not cause significant structural damage to homes, some residents fled their villages to seek safety.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Commander of the Burma Liberation Democratic Front (BLDF) – Military Region (3), Ye Baw Phon Myint Zaw, Dies in Airstrike

According to an official statement, the funeral ceremony for Ye Baw Phon Myint Zaw (aka Ye Baw Ti Kyi), the commander of Military Region (3) of the Burma Liberation Democratic Front (BLDF), was held on October 10 at a revolutionary base.
He was severely injured during the junta’s airstrike on the night of the full moon of Thadingyut (October 6) and passed away at around 3:00 a.m. on October 9.
The funeral was attended by members of the BLDF Central Committee, officers from various BLDF departments and regional units, People’s Defense Force (PDF) and People’s Defense Organization (Pa Ka Pha) representatives, People’s Administrative Organization (Pa Ah Pha), revolutionary strike forces, members of the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), women’s organizations, allied resistance groups, and civilians who came to pay their final respects.
During the same airstrike on the night of the Thadingyut full moon, at least 22 people — including children — were killed and more than 60 others were injured. Due to the severity of their wounds, additional fatalities have since been reported.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 8. “Modern Punks” Commander and Member Arrested by Strategic Command (No. 34); Group Officially Disbanded and Disarmed

According to an announcement from Strategic Command (No. 34) of the People’s Defense Force (PDF), Ye Baw Kyaik Oo, the commander of the “Modern Punks” resistance unit, and one of his subordinates were arrested and detained at around 3:00 p.m. on October 7.
The detained commander, Ye Baw Kyaik Oo, was accused of multiple offenses, including the burning of a civilian with rope, threatening another civilian by pointing a firearm at his ear, issuing death threats to certain revolutionary leaders and unit commanders, verbally abusing and intimidating officials of local People’s Administrative Organizations (Pa Ah Pha) by appearing in front of their homes, and repeatedly threatening other resistance fighters that he would shoot anyone passing through his village without prior notice.
He was also accused of breaking into the home of a member of the People’s Security Force (PSF), threatening him at gunpoint, and unlawfully confiscating a firearm, a walkie-talkie, and personal belongings.
In addition, he allegedly entered a PSF camp with two others while armed without giving prior notice. He also failed to comply with the announcement released on July 30, 2025, by Battalion (1) under Dawei District and continued to commit further offenses.
To prevent serious internal conflict among resistance forces and to ensure accountability for his violations, the Strategic Command (No. 34) decided to detain him.
The statement added that Ye Baw Kyaik Oo has been reported to the Ministry of Defense for disciplinary action according to military protocol. Furthermore, the “Modern Punks” unit has been officially dissolved, and its members have been prohibited from carrying weapons.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 9. Five Junta Soldiers Defect and Surrender Without Weapons in Tanintharyi and Sagaing Regions

According to reports, five junta soldiers surrendered without weapons — four in the KNU-controlled areas of Laemula Township, Myeik and Dawei Districts, Tanintharyi Region, and one in Sagaing City, Sagaing Region.
On October 5, three new recruits from the junta’s Central Military Training School (No. 12) defected, followed by one more on October 8. All four surrendered to KNLA Brigade (4) and KNDO Battalion (7) in KNU-controlled areas.
The defectors were reportedly forcibly conscripted by junta forces and compelled to attend basic military training before escaping.
Similarly, on October 10, a junta soldier from Infantry Battalion (33) based in Sagaing contacted the Yunikun Underground Force to defect. He was subsequently brought to safety and reunited with his family.
That soldier was among those who had been forcibly conscripted in Mandalay during the junta’s mass abductions in February this year and later assigned to Infantry Battalion (33) in Sagaing.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 10. New Recruits of Battalion (17), Pakokku District, Graduate from Basic Military Training and Receive Uniforms

According to the official statement, the graduation and uniform presentation ceremony for new recruits of Battalion (17) under Pakokku District was held on October 9, 2025.
The announcement also stated that Battalion (17) is continuing to recruit new members not only for combat units but also for medical, communications, and administrative departments.
