🚩🚩 7. “We Must Find Ways to Counter the Threat of Military Drones,” Says Tactical Raptor 2.0

October 7,
Radio NUG

Tactical Raptor 2.0, a defense technology and weaponry analysis channel, has urged revolutionary forces to develop countermeasures against the increasing threat of the junta’s drones, which have become a growing danger in regions with limited weaponry.

It noted that although the junta began deploying military drones nearly a year ago, the resistance forces remain under-equipped to effectively shoot them down, facing financial, logistical, and operational constraints.

The analysis suggested that to counter drone attacks effectively, forces could mount heavy machine guns (point-firing HMGs) on vehicles, equip them with thermal sights for night targeting, and use FPV (First-Person View) drones to strike back—describing these as the most efficient methods currently available.

However, it also pointed out that many resistance groups are still struggling even to obtain basic rifles and ammunition, making access to HMGs, thermal sights, and FPV drones extremely difficult—especially in regions like Sagaing, where there are no strong allied ethnic armed organizations to provide support.

The report emphasized that the junta’s deliberate targeting and mass killing of civilians using drones originally designed for recreational and hobby purposes must be exposed through international media coverage.

Furthermore, it recommended that revolutionary forces strengthen early warning systems against air attacks, construct bomb shelters, and avoid public gatherings to minimize casualties.

These military intelligence analyses were compiled and reported by Radio NUG correspondents Khur Shel and Padeh Phoe.
