“We [as the government] must share the people’s concerns. Two years have passed since the Spring Revolution. As we have some areas where we achieve success, we also have others where we have not yet to revolutionise. However, we can all see that, due to our unity and strong resistance, the coup d’état by the military group led by terrorist leader Min Aung Hlaing has not yet succeeded. 📌📌 6. The spokesperson for the Office of the Acting President says that the terrorist military junta admitted on its own through the declaration of martial law that it could no longer rule

On February 5, U Kyaw Zaw, the spokesperson for the office of the Acting President, told Radio NUG that the terrorist military junta admitted on its own through the declaration of martial law that it could no longer rule.

“The military council has issued martial law in 37 townships. Even without declaring martial law, they have been trying to rule Myanmar under martial law since February 1, 2021, when they tried to stage a coup. On February 1, 2023, the terrorist military council led by Min Aung Hlaing announced another six-month extension of its state of emergency, which indicates that Min Aung Hlaing himself admitted that they had failed despite trying to take over the country for two years but asked to be allowed to try again. So they have already admitted that their coup failed. In the same way, by declaring martial law, they clearly admit that they cannot rule those areas. I consider that they are admitting their loss.”
