At a meeting of the Mandalay Region Interim Political Strategy Coordination and Drafting Committee, suggestions sent by the public and revolutionary forces were discussed.
The meeting was held on November 29 via Zoom, and detailed discussions took place on the proposals submitted to the committee. Following this, committee members exchanged views on judicial aspects for the region's interim political strategy.
Attended by 90% of eligible participants, the meeting included members from six subgroups of the committee.

The National Unity Government (NUG), through its Ministry of Women, Youth, and Children Affairs, held discussions to promote human rights, gender equality, and the eradication of violence against women and girls as part of this 16-day initiative.

### 3. China Opposes ICC Jurisdiction over Myanmar Military Leader Min Aung Hlaing

China opposed the International Criminal Court's (ICC) jurisdiction to issue an arrest warrant for Myanmar's military leader Min Aung Hlaing over crimes committed against the Rohingya, citing the country’s non-signatory status to the Rome Statute.
During a press briefing in Beijing on November 28, China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated that China supports Myanmar’s stance and emphasized that ICC actions should adhere to justice, international cooperation, and the rule of law.

### 4. Public Forums Held in KNU-Controlled Nyaung Lay Bin District on Environmental Conservation and Agriculture Policies

The sessions aimed to update policies to ensure food security, job opportunities, and environmental preservation. Over 76 participants from six village clusters attended the forums, which concluded with strategic planning for future actions.

### 5. Bridge Collapse in Maha Chai New City Claims Lives of Four Myanmar Workers

In the early hours of November 29, a construction site bridge collapse in Maha Chai New City, Thailand, killed four Myanmar workers and injured 11 others.
The incident occurred when cranes failed to lift steel structures properly, causing concrete and steel beams to fall. Rescue teams transported the injured to hospitals. This bridge had previously collapsed last year, causing fatalities.

### 6. Basic Ta’ang Language Classes Launched in Two Townships

The Ta’ang Literature Association (TLA) launched basic Ta’ang language courses in two villages in November, specifically in Namhsan and Kutkai townships.
Over 108 participants, including monks, men, and women, completed the one-month courses. The initiative aims to preserve the Ta’ang language, promote cultural awareness, and equip local educators to incorporate Ta’ang studies into formal education systems.
