- Mandalay PDF Maintains Control Despite SAC Efforts
The Military Council (SAC) continues its attempts to reclaim camps and territories it has lost, but the People’s Defense Forces (PDF) in Mandalay announced they are firmly in control.
On November 27 at approximately 9:15 AM, the SAC attacked the Dhammayon in Lakkaung Gyi Ywathit, Matayar Township, using drones without any prior clashes. The attack reportedly caused the deaths of a young boy and two young women.
Clashes between the Mandalay PDF and SAC forces continue in Matayar, Thabeikkyin, and Naungcho Townships. The SAC, faced with increasing defeats, is resorting to war crimes, deliberately targeting civilians, according to reports.
