The Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) announced that a ceremony was held to facilitate a meeting between KNDF Chairman Khun Bee Htoo and injured soldiers. The event was organized by KNDF Brigade 31.
The meeting took place on December 19, led by Strategic Command (1) of the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force. It was successfully conducted between 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM.
The ceremony was attended by KNDF Chairman Khun Bee Htoo, central committee members, battalion commanders, and officers from Strategic Commands (1) and (8). During the meeting, motivational speeches were delivered to the injured soldiers, offering them encouragement and support.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Officer Who Fired Mortar Shells During AA Anniversary Detained by AA

According to Western News, an officer from the junta forces who fired mortar shells during the 15th anniversary of the Arakan Army (AA), labeling them as "gifts for the AA's anniversary," has been detained by the AA.
The incident occurred at the Western Military Command's No. 374 Artillery Unit in Ann Township, Rakhine State. On April 10, 2024, Warrant Officer Myo Min Htun fired mortar shells into civilian areas, marking them with the phrase, "Gift for AA's Anniversary." He reportedly added a taunting message: "Sorry I can’t attend, so I’m sending this as a gift. OK?"
Myo Min Htun later admitted that the firing occurred due to mishandling of the equipment. He has since surrendered to the AA and is currently in their custody.
Additionally, a video was circulated showing another soldier mocking the AA with comments like, "Has the AA taken Ann yet? They better seize our dirty uniforms first." This soldier was later killed in combat during the battle for Ann.
The AA stated that during the battle for Ann, they captured numerous junta personnel, including Deputy Commander of the Western Military Command Brigadier General Thaung Tun and Chief of Staff Brigadier General Kyaw Kyaw Than.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Joint Forces Capture Junta's Battalion 274 in Mindat

Reports have emerged that joint forces under the Chinland Defense Alliance have captured the Myanmar junta’s Battalion 274 based in Mindat Township, southern Chin State.
The battle for Mindat was part of a Chinland joint military operation conducted in collaboration with allied groups. On the 43rd day of the offensive, December 21, early in the morning, the joint forces successfully captured Battalion 274. However, the Commander-in-Chief of CDF Mindat, Salai Than Chun Fai, has yet to confirm the news.
At around 11:00 AM, junta forces retaliated with an airstrike using Y-12 bombers, dropping payloads in clusters of 10, 5, and 3 bombs over the town for about an hour. Additionally, a separate strike was conducted at 2:30 AM with a 500-pound bomb.
As of December 20, Chinland Defense Alliance announced that key areas in Mindat, including San Min Thiri Pagoda Hill, the government staff housing area, the district construction office, and the tower hill, were captured and are now under their control.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Junta Camp at Aung Tha Pyay Hilltop Overrun: 9 Dead, 4 Captured

A joint force of the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) and allied groups attacked and overran a junta camp located on the hilltop of Aung Tha Pyay Cave in Loikaw Township, Karenni State, according to reports from The Hunter – Musoe.
The assault took place at around 6:00 AM on December 18, involving KNDF Strategic Command (2), KNDF Battalions (2) and (14), KNDF UAV units, and Loikaw People's Defense Force (PDF).
During the attack, nine junta personnel, including a Second Lieutenant and a Warrant Officer, were killed. Four others were captured alive.
The joint forces seized several weapons, including seven MA-1 rifles, four MA-11 rifles, and one MA-3 rifle. On the allied side, one soldier sustained minor injuries to his arm, but the injury is reportedly not life-threatening.
Junta forces responded with drone strikes and heavy artillery bombardment during the fighting.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Pyu Saw Htee Village in Thayet Koo Captured, Two PDF Fighters Killed

Beginning on December 19, revolutionary forces launched an attack on Pyu Saw Htee Village in Thayet Koo, Mying Township. By the afternoon of December 21, the revolutionary forces had intensified their offensive, forcing all junta soldiers stationed in the village to flee. Consequently, the revolutionary fighters successfully seized control of the entire village, according to Battalion 17 under Pakokku District.
Currently, revolutionary forces are conducting clearance operations in Thayet Koo’s Pyu Saw Htee Village, while investigations are ongoing to determine the number of junta casualties and the amount of weapons and ammunition seized. Unfortunately, two PDF fighters lost their lives in the operation.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 6. Three Mines Detonate in Kapasa-22 Camp, Killing One and Injuring Another

In Magway Region, Pakokku District, near the Seik Phyu border at Shwe Bo Kyun Kapasa-22 Camp, three mines planted inside the camp detonated, killing one junta soldier and injuring another, according to the Young Revolution Front (YRF).
On the night of December 19, three high-impact mines known as "Padetha Mines" were planted approximately 100 feet inside the Kapasa-22 Camp. By the morning and afternoon of December 20, all three mines exploded. The first explosion resulted in the death of one junta soldier and injuries to another. Investigations are still underway regarding any damage caused by the remaining two explosions.
On the evening of December 20, junta soldiers from Kapasa-22 indiscriminately dropped three bombs using drones in nearby villages and forests. Two of these bombs detonated.
Additionally, Kapasa-22 soldiers shot a civilian motorcyclist who had mistakenly taken the wrong route, hitting him in the abdomen. The injured individual is currently receiving medical treatment.
This attack was carried out jointly by the Young Revolution Front (YRF) from Southern Pauk and the independent "Tiger Guerilla Force." Both groups safely withdrew without any casualties.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Civilian Severely Injured by Landmine Explosion in Thibaw

In the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) military region (Division 2), a 31-year-old man, U Sai Than Kyaw, stepped on a landmine in Thibaw (Hsipaw), resulting in an explosion that caused the loss of one leg, according to a statement by PSLF/TNLA.
The incident occurred at 5:00 PM on December 18 while U Sai Than Kyaw was collecting scrap metal near the Tatmadaw Light Infantry Battalion (LIB-23) camp. The landmine was reportedly planted by the previous junta.
The explosion caused injuries to his neck, arms, and legs. U Sai Than Kyaw was transported to a clinic by the "Without Borders Charity Association," where he is currently receiving medical care.
A similar incident occurred on October 29 when another man, U Sai Myint Khine, died after detonating a landmine planted by the junta while cleaning near his home.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 8. Seven Junta Soldiers Defect to BNRA During Battle for Palae Town

During the battle to capture Palae Town, seven soldiers from the Butalin reinforcement column, who had been transported via Mi-17 helicopters, defected to the Burmese National Revolutionary Army (BNRA), according to a statement.
On November 14, reinforcements were deployed to Palae Town by the junta via Mi-17 helicopters. By December 10, five soldiers defected to the BNRA, bringing with them four MA-1 rifles, eight magazines, one MA-3 rifle, three magazines, and 756 rounds of 5.56 ammunition.
On December 11, two additional junta soldiers defected to the BNRA, bringing along one drone. All seven defectors had previously completed the regime's Military Training Course Batch 4.
The defectors who surrendered with weapons were each rewarded with MMK 5,000,000 (approx. USD 2,000), while those who surrendered unarmed received MMK 500,000 (approx. USD 200). They were also safely relocated.
In total, nine soldiers from the Butalin reinforcement column stationed in Palae Town defected to resistance forces, with seven choosing to join the BNRA.
