The Vice Commander of the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) has called on the public to actively participate in "Campaign #8," a joint strategy led by KNDF Brigade 8. Speaking on December 9, the Vice Commander emphasized the importance of public involvement, stating:
"The results of all campaigns conducted by KNDF strategies will follow the trajectory depicted here. Campaigns are increasing, results are growing, and daily sacrifices are being made without excuses. Focus only on the results."
The campaign, orchestrated by Brigade 8, aims to completely defeat the military junta forces in Karenni State, protect the territory, and ensure minimal casualties among allies while intensifying operations.
Despite efforts by the five battalions under Brigade 8's command, the resources allocated for the campaign fall short of the intended targets. Therefore, the public has been urged to contribute by purchasing a "solidarity bond" worth 20,000 MMK to help meet the campaign's goals.

The PDF confirmed that during these clashes, some weapons and ammunition were seized from junta troops. The successful recapture strengthens the resistance's foothold in the area and highlights ongoing efforts to counter the military regime.

In Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, a civilian stepped on a landmine planted by junta forces, resulting in severe injuries and the loss of a leg. The incident occurred around 9 a.m. near the old cemetery in Ward (G), where the victim was gathering firewood.
Locals rushed the injured individual to a junta-controlled clinic in Yinmabin Town for immediate treatment, where the leg was amputated before transferring the victim to Monywa Hospital for further care. Reports indicate that junta troops stationed in Yinmabin continue to lay landmines in surrounding areas, posing ongoing risks to civilians.

Residents of South Dagon Township have reported nighttime abductions of youths by junta forces. The South Dagon Student Democratic Group (SDG) announced on December 8 that over 10 youths had been abducted in the past few days.
According to reports, incidents occurred in Ward 26, including:
- Four individuals near Aung Zeya Housing on December 6,
- Two individuals near a brick kiln on December 7, and
- Two individuals near a local monastery on December 8.
Other abductions were also reported in nearby areas. The situation has caused alarm among residents as junta forces continue to arbitrarily detain civilians.

The People’s Goal Organization announced on December 9 that it provided 1.5 million MMK to support families of soldiers and police participating in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) in Kyainseikgyi Township, Kayin State.
The funds, delivered on December 8, aim to support the basic needs of 23 individuals and their families. The organization also offers a range of assistance to CDM participants, including educational programs, security measures, food supplies, healthcare support, and job placement services to ensure their well-being.

The People’s Defense Forces (PDFs) are actively participating in military operations across the country, according to Click2Donate, a fundraising group supporting the revolution. A statement from the organization highlights the widespread involvement of PDFs, mentioning notable campaigns and clashes in:
- Kachin State, including Bhamo,
- Mandalay Region, from Myittha to the city’s outskirts,
- Karenni State,
- Bago Region, and
- Sagaing and Magway Regions, where daily clashes persist.
The Ministry of Defense under the National Unity Government (NUG) is reportedly enhancing training and equipping the PDFs as part of its efforts to intensify resistance against the junta.
