UNICEF Myanmar issued a statement on January 20 emphasizing that children with disabilities should not face exclusion, rejection, or neglect regarding their right to education.
"Education is a fundamental right for every child, regardless of their physical abilities, disabilities, or background. It is linked to other inherent rights, such as the right to survival, development, protection, and participation. Children with disabilities also deserve equal access to these rights," the statement read.
UNICEF further highlighted the necessity of finding and implementing effective teaching methods that enable children with hearing impairments to learn. The organization announced free online training titled "Inclusive Education for Hearing Impairment" to support inclusive education for hearing-impaired children, ensuring no child is left behind.

Plans are underway for campaigns to draw attention to the embassies and ambassadors representing Myanmar's military regime (SAC) abroad, according to a Myanmar expatriate affiliated with the revolutionary forces, who spoke to Radio NUG on January 20.
"Some are planning a public campaign for this purpose," the source added.
Currently, SAC-aligned ambassadors and embassies provide no support to Myanmar communities abroad and operate solely under the directives of the military regime.
"Should the SAC fall, reclaiming the embassies would not be an issue. These embassies are state-owned, not government-owned. Once the regime loses power, it will no longer have the legal right to occupy or operate from these embassies," said another revolutionary force member.

Othman Hashim has been appointed as ASEAN's new special envoy to Myanmar, according to a report by Free Malaysia Today.
Malaysia's Foreign Minister, Mohamad Hasan, announced the appointment during a press conference following the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting held on January 19, where he served as chair.
ASEAN foreign ministers collectively endorsed Tan Sri Othman Hashim as the special envoy to Myanmar, pledging to support him in carrying out his responsibilities.
