At approximately 11:00 PM on March 10, a military transport boat traveling from Dawei to Sin Phyu Pyin Jetty in Thayetchaung Township was ambushed and destroyed by Dawei District Joint Forces along the Dawei River, according to an official statement.
The attack led to an intense exchange of fire for about 10 minutes. The enemy vessel was struck by an RPG, causing it to catch fire while continuing downstream.
As a result of the assault, the boat was severely burned and destroyed, with over 20 junta personnel killed and approximately 30 others wounded, reports indicate.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. 96 Soldiers - PDF Ayeyarwady Battalion Commander Killed in Combat

A battalion commander from the Ayeyarwady Division of the 96 Soldiers - PDF has been killed in combat, according to an official announcement from the group.
The fallen officer, Comrade Waiphyo Aung (a.k.a. Ten), lost his life in an undisclosed military operation on March 11.
Comrade Ten had actively served in the 96 Soldiers - PDF Ayeyarwady Battalion since the beginning of the Spring Revolution, taking up arms against the military dictatorship. He made the ultimate sacrifice in the fight to completely dismantle the junta and establish a federal democracy, the statement said.
The 96 Soldiers - PDF expressed deep sorrow over his loss while also honoring his bravery and sacrifice in the struggle.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Junta Forces Use Human Shields, Loot Homes, and Set Houses on Fire in Chauk Township

In Magway Region’s Chauk Township, a junta column launched an assault on Gwe Pin Gyi village tract, using seven civilians as human shields while looting and setting houses ablaze, according to Pa Ka Pha (People’s Defense Force - Magway District).
On March 11, a military column of approximately 80 soldiers advanced toward Gwe Pin Lay village from the east of Aung Myae Kan, firing small arms as they entered. They captured seven civilians on their way to their farmlands and used them as human shields while raiding the village.
The troops looted cash, gold, and valuables worth an estimated 45 million kyats from homes abandoned by fleeing villagers.
During their operation, they forced the seven captives to march in front of them, using them as protection as they entered Gwe Pin Lay village. Once inside, they:
Fired 60mm mortars at houses
Dropped bombs from drones
Shot at homes with small arms
Set two houses on fire
The junta column retreated around 11:00 AM, after ransacking and destroying properties. Before releasing the captives, they beat and verbally abused them before allowing them to leave.
Due to the junta’s use of civilians as human shields, the Revolutionary Joint Forces refrained from engaging to prevent civilian casualties.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Airstrike Near Htauk Shar Pin Village School Kills One Civilian

On March 11, at around 3:30 PM, a jet fighter from Saikphyu’s Light Infantry Battalion 24 carried out an airstrike near Htauk Shar Pin Village School in the eastern part of Pauk Township, according to We Love Myaing.
As a result of the airstrike, a woman in her 50s was killed, and a student was injured near the school.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Woman Killed in Taungtha Due to Military Council’s Airstrikes

A woman was killed, and a man sustained severe injuries due to airstrikes carried out by the Military Council in Taungtha Township, Myingyan District, Mandalay Region, according to a statement from the Taungtha Public Mobilization Committee.
On March 10, at around 3:30 PM, the Military Council dropped bombs from the air on the Dhamma Hall inside the pagoda compound of Ayekyin Village, Panpaung Group.
As a result of the bombing, a woman lost her life, a man was seriously injured, and religious buildings were damaged, the statement said.
Similarly, on March 11, at approximately 1:45 PM, two fighter jets from Meiktila dropped eight bombs on Zayat Gyi Village, damaging several civilian houses. However, there were no reported casualties.
Due to the Military Council’s airstrikes targeting civilian residential areas, the public has been urged to take shelter in bomb-resistant bunkers whenever they hear the sound of approaching aircraft or jet engines.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 6. Military Council Drops 500-Pound Bomb in Ponnagyun and Fires Rockets; Man Loses Leg in Mine Explosion in Taungup

On March 11, at around 1:45 PM, a fighter jet from the Military Council dropped a 500-pound bomb on Kwan Taung Village in Ponnagyun Township, destroying several homes, according to APM News Agency.
Earlier that morning, at around 11:00 AM, Light Infantry Battalion (232), stationed in Sit-Tway, launched a rocket barrage toward Ponnagyun Town. Four bombs exploded in the farmland near the base of U Razadar Stupa.
Additionally, in Taungup Town, at around 12:40 PM on March 11, a man lost his leg after stepping on a landmine planted by the Military Council, according to reports.
The man, identified as U Maung The Win, accidentally triggered the mine while foraging for food near the No. 5 Military Operations Command (MOC-5) headquarters, accompanied by U Soe Naing.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Two Soldiers from Infantry Battalion 285 Defect to Tanintharyi Pa Ka Pha

Two soldiers from the Military Council’s Light Infantry Battalion (285), stationed in Pulaw, Myeik District, have defected to the People's Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) in Tanintharyi Township, according to an official statement.
The defectors, identified as Maung Myo from Ayeyarwady Region and Jar Jar from Shan State, had completed Military Service Batch 1 training. They contacted the Tanintharyi Pa Ka Pha and defected on February 12.
The Tanintharyi Pa Ka Pha has arranged for their safety in a secure location.
The two defectors had been serving at Light Infantry Battalion (285) in Pulaw after their training and had managed to escape from the battlefront in Thay Khun Village, where they had been deployed.
They were among the forcibly conscripted new recruits of the Military Council. One of the defectors has reportedly expressed willingness to fight back against the Military Council.

The People’s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) in Kyaukme Township, northeastern Shan State, has announced that it is recruiting new members.
Applicants must be determined to overthrow the military dictatorship, committed to fulfilling assigned duties responsibly, disciplined, cooperative, and dedicated to serving until the revolution is achieved.
New recruits will be assigned to combat operations, medical support, logistics, and administrative roles, with a minimum service period of two years.
Those joining combat operations must be disciplined, physically fit, and prepared for military service.
Medical support personnel must have at least a high school education, basic English proficiency, and a compassionate attitude toward patients.
Logistics personnel must prioritize public welfare over personal gain, be skilled drivers, maintain accurate records, and have mechanical expertise.
For administrative roles, applicants must be detail-oriented, friendly, and capable of working well with others.
