๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. SAC Conducts Another Airstrike on Kawlin Township
April 11
The military junta conducted another aerial bombardment on Kawlin Township in Sagaing Region this morning, April 11, according to a statement released by the Kawlin People’s Defence Force (Kawlin-PDF).
The strike reportedly occurred at 3:40 AM today, targeting Thae Chaung Ywar Thit, a village situated along the Shwebo–Myitkyina highway in the eastern part of Kawlin Township.
Kawlin-PDF’s statement noted that the aerial attack deliberately targeted civilians, as there was no military activity on the ground at the time of the strike.
Two bombs were dropped during the attack, with one of them landing and exploding in a field near the village, causing only minimal damage, the group stated.
Just a day earlier, on April 10 at 1:40 PM, the SAC also dropped two 500-pound bombs on the school in In Pin Hla Village, Kawlin Township. The attack killed a 13-year-old girl, injured five others, and caused significant destruction and losses.
Having already lost control of Inndaw City and with one of its battalion commanders captured, the military junta has intensified airstrikes in Inndaw, Kawlin, and Wuntho townships. As a result, Kawlin has now come under air assault for two consecutive days.
Resistance forces have warned civilians in Kawlin, Wuntho, and Inndaw Townships to remain alert to the heightened threat posed by junta airstrikes.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. SAC Airstrikes Village Hosting Karen National Day Ceremony
April 11
The military junta launched an airstrike on Thay Kyet Village in Hpa-kon Township, where a Karen National Day celebration was held, according to local sources.
The attack reportedly occurred around midnight, following the April 10 celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Karen National Day and the unveiling of a commemorative silver monument.
According to local residents, the airstrike destroyed one house and injured two civilians.
One local source stated that the junta views the entire Karen ethnic group as enemies.
“They call us rebels—then let it be known that we proudly declare: Yes, we are Karen rebels!” the source added defiantly.
It was also reported that the military dropped a 200-pound bomb at the conclusion of the 25th Anniversary ceremony.
The junta’s airstrike is seen as a deliberate attempt to sabotage the large-scale celebration, which had brought together more than 10,000 people from over a hundred Karen villages in a united and enthusiastic show of ethnic solidarity.
During the ceremony, the Karen National Party (KNP) Chairman Khun Bi Htoo urged Karen people to remain united in the struggle for the liberation of the entire Karen population.
The event also featured tributes to the Karen flag, a ceremonial flag-raising, traditional Karen dances, and a one-minute silence in remembrance of those who lost their lives during recent earthquakes.
These reports were submitted by Radio NUG correspondent Ko Khant.
