Dr. Shwe Phone, Deputy Minister of Health of the National Unity Government (NUG), has extended support to members of the People’s Defense Force (PDF) and political prisoners. On May 28, Dr. Shwe Phone publicly stated, “This is the aid we delivered for this month.”
The assistance included a total contribution of MMK 2 million — MMK 1.5 million specifically allocated to the Special Commando Battalion, and MMK 500,000 provided for other needs.
Members of the National Unity Government continue to support PDF members by providing food supplies and aid on special occasions such as birthdays.

๐๐ 2. KNDF Sends Message of Tribute for the 4th Anniversary of Or Wan Hospital

To mark the 4th anniversary of Or Wan Hospital, located in a part of Demoso Township in Karenni State, the Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF) sent an official letter of tribute. The commemoration fell on May 27.
In the message, the KNDF expressed profound gratitude to the professional doctors, medical trainees, healthcare workers, and sanitation staff for their dedication in serving with expertise and in fulfilling their respective responsibilities for the benefit of the revolution and the public.
The message also called on all those in charge — supported by both local and international donors and managed through the collective efforts of various units — to persist with unwavering commitment towards ending military dictatorship and establishing a federal democracy in Myanmar.
Furthermore, KNDF affirmed its intention to continue standing alongside Or Wan Hospital until its political objectives are achieved.
Described as a "blossoming flower amidst the storm," Or Wan Hospital symbolizes resilience and hope for the local population and revolutionary fighters. The Nway Oo Gurulay Group also issued a tribute, highlighting the hospital’s role in delivering medical services that protect both public welfare and the revolution’s future.

๐๐ 3. MFDMC Delivers MMK 10 Million to Shan South-Kayah (Karenni) Military Region

In pursuit of ending military dictatorship and establishing a genuine federal democratic nation, the Myanmar Federal Democracy Movement Coalition (MFDMC) has delivered a full MMK 10 million from its Defense Support Fund to Strategic Command No. (14) of the Southern Shan-Kayah (Karenni) Military Region, Southern Shan Sub-Military Region.
The funds originated from the contributions of overseas support personnel and were delivered swiftly and precisely to the ground level under the Ministry of Defense’s directive, in alignment with MFDMC’s policy.
Despite being located abroad, these support personnel remain essential contributors to the revolution, and MFDMC Korea has extended an open invitation encouraging them to actively participate as vital logistical support members of the resistance.

๐๐ 4. Anti-Junta Demonstration to Be Held in Front of the Chinese Mission in New York, USA

It has been reported that a public demonstration opposing the Myanmar military dictatorship will be held in front of the Chinese Mission in New York City, United States.
The NYCBC (New York City Burmese Community) stated that the event aims to clearly and firmly denounce the Chinese government’s misguided policies, which continue to provide strong support to the terrorist junta led by Min Aung Hlaing. This junta has been relentlessly carrying out brutal acts of violence—burning, bombing, and murdering innocent children, the elderly, and civilians across Myanmar on a daily basis, in blatant disregard for rule of law and justice.
The demonstration is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of June 6, and revolutionary brothers and sisters are encouraged and invited to participate and lend their support.

๐๐ 5. 80-Kilometre Run to Mark Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s Birthday

As part of a birthday campaign for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, her son Ko Htein Lin has announced an 80-kilometre run.
He shared the following statement:
"The time has come to create a meaningful and memorable moment this June. I will run exactly 80 kilometres in honour of a woman who has shown us how to act with courage, uphold compassion and kindness, and persevere with strength."
In addition, a public solidarity walk will be held in the United Kingdom on June 8, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, to commemorate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s 80th birthday. This has been officially announced by Burmese diaspora groups in the UK.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Myanmar’s State Counsellor, and President U Win Myint have been unlawfully detained by the military junta since the coup on February 1, 2021.

The film What Happened to the Wolf?, directed by Na Gyi and starring lead actors Eaindra Kyaw Zin and Paing Phyo Thu, is scheduled to be screened in San Francisco, United States.
The screening will take place on June 29 at Cinemark, a local cinema in the city.
The film was originally shot in 2020 and completed in late 2020 as a full-length feature production. Ticket sales for the screening have already begun, according to reports.
