Radio NUG
Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than reaffirmed in his 2025 International Workers' Day message that the National Unity Government (NUG) will stand and fight shoulder to shoulder with the working class until victory is achieved.
“The National Unity Government solemnly honors and records with deep respect the great labor force of Myanmar, which has risen up from under oppression and is courageously fighting as a pillar of the Spring Revolution alongside the people.
We will always remember the courageous sacrifices made by heroic workers who, with unwavering determination, continue to endure immense hardship, shedding their blood, sweat, and even lives in pursuit of their rights and justice.
As workers have become a central force of the revolution, they will also play a pivotal role in the establishment of a new Federal Democratic Union. With them, we vow firmly and unwaveringly to continue fighting until we achieve victory,” he declared.
The terrorist military junta continues to commit human rights abuses against workers, including the unlawful conscription of laborers into military service and various forms of oppression.

U Lin Thant, the NUG Representative to the Czech Republic, stated that the National Unity Government is not a conventional administration, but a revolutionary government actively constructing a new governing system.
“After the military coup, the entire governing mechanism fell into the hands of the terrorist military regime. As such, the NUG is not functioning as a typical government, but is instead a revolutionary government establishing a new system from the ground up.
In this process, we have faced and continue to overcome many difficulties and challenges. Looking back, we can now say that we have come a long way.
In global history, there has never been a revolutionary movement that has progressed so successfully within just four years as Myanmar’s Spring Revolution. This is a testament to the collective effort of all individuals who have taken part in the revolution in diverse capacities,” he said.
He also added that the drafting of a Federal Constitution for a new federal union is currently underway, which marks a crucial step in Myanmar's political transition.
